This was by request, and is completely by the numbers, you can plug them in and verify it yourself, so any hate should be directed at the formula, not the results.

Here's how it works:

Team is awarded 5 points for a win, minus 5 for a loss.

Team is awarded 3 points times the win total for each team defeated, minus 3 times the loss total for each team lost to.

**e.g. Team A defeats two 2-1 teams, and loses to a 2-1 team. +12 for the four total wins, -3 for the one loss.

Team is awarded one tenth of a point times the total cumulative margin of victory, with a maximum of 10 points per game (+100 MOV).

The rankings, as of week 4 (the season is young, this will balance out, I'm sure...)

1) Gods of War (74.0)
2) Off Topics (67.0)
3) Ironmen (63.8)
4) Butchers (60.9)
5) Pecs of Steel (57)

It's kind of humorous, because the MoV's in this conference are so massive, even with my cap of +100, it's hard to accomplish the intended goal of SoS over MoV. 6 3-1 teams, for example, have a higher SoS rating than the Niners, but because the Niners are just destroying their competition (except a very tight one against the #4 Butchers) they wind up the top ranked of the 3-1 teams.

That has a nice ring to it, "the #1 Butchers". Although, in reality it would be the "tied for #1 Butchers", at least for a while. Anyway, nice job on the Power Rankings, it will be interesting to see how these results compare to the conference standings as the season progresses.

This will definitely change as some teams face stiffer competition and some face weaker competition. None of the 3-1 teams (except the Crusaders and the Syndicate) have lost to anyone who wasn't already undefeated.

The Raptors, like many other 3-1 teams, haven't really beaten anyone. In fact, only the Doomsday and the Crusaders have beaten a team with more than two wins so far.

This will very much evolve as the season progresses.

The point spreads will definitely get gaudier as time goes on, but we definitely should be able to see more trends later.

Wonder how this would look if it weren't for a 4th quarter/OT choke by the Niners

Week 5:

We all know the Gods took a hit losing to the Niners, so that shook the top 5 up pretty good. Unfortunately for the Niners, it didn't help them a bit in the rankings - primarily because the Gods are the only quality win so far on their schedule. Biggest drop of the day belongs to the Doomsday, losing 6 spots on the heels of their loss to the Chiefs.

And congratulations are in order for the Outlaws, this week's big mover, climbing all the way out of the cellar to #25 with their first win of the year. Condolences to the Flames, their first victim, still winless.

1) Offtopics (97.0) +1
2) Butchers (87.9) +2
3) Ironmen (82.8) --
4) Pecs of Steel (81.2) +1
5) Gods of War (71.1) -4
6) Niners (62.2) --
7) Guardians (57.3) +3
8) Velociraptors (55.8) +3

11) Yellowhammers (37.8) -4
12) Nightmare (34.5) +4
13) Syndicate (33.9) +2
14) Doomsday (31.6) -6
15) Crusaders (22.0) -1
16) Players (21.3) +1
