Welcome to the end of the first quarter Power Rankings for A6 East. It was a crazy four games with only two undefeated teams left in the conference, neither of which are the Blaze or the River Rats. Tennessee's schedule gets very serious in the second quarter of the season as they will play the #2,#3, and #4 ranked team here, ouch. Phoenix squeaked by Cybermagination to stay undefeated; however, if they get by Tennessee in a few weeks they have a good shot at 9-0 before they start the grinding part of their schedule. Memphis has been the biggest disapointment so far this season, as they have lost to the Bears and Gangstas, but managed to somehow pull out a win against the Blaze. The newcomers Jacktown, Q, and Cybermagination have all held their own and are looking playoff bound. Teams 9-16 have yet to win any games against the top 8 teams. Enjoy!

1. Tennessee Fury
2. Phoenix Scorpions
3. Jacktown Gangstas
4. New Jersey Blaze
5. Q Dawgs
6. Cybermagination Dreams
7. Boston Bears
8. Memphis River Rats
9. Dirty Cheetahs
10. Enghave Evolution
11. Buffalo Chips
12. Los Angeles Bicycle Clowns
13. Sparta Wardogs
14. Atlantic City Aces
15. Ottawa Outbreak
16. Awesomeville Bearphins

It has been a pretty restful start of the season for us. I'm not looking forward to weeks 6, 7, and 8.

And thanks for reminding me of the road ahead.

Nice writeup.

I hate to see my team drop out of the number 1 spot, but I can't say I argue with being 4th. Quite a season we have in front of us, great write up man.

WTF, Bearphins still last? Something is wrong here.

If the CPU gets their stuff together and starts recruiting...maybe they will move up.

I just have a soft spot for the Bearphins. I'm used to seeing them in the top 5 (when I was still the owner)

Eh... so Scorps are playing above their heads.

Like last year's NFL Giants.

Just sayin'

A team can make up a 1-4 level difference with build and tactics any day of the week. An extremely well-built team can make up even more (though that's not as common).

That said, I'm looking forward to the matchup on Tuesday.

Yes, especially considering many of the folks in Season 1 and 2 didn't know what to focus on and the SIM has been changed 5 or 6 times.

heh... SPEED... no wait STRENGTH... no wait... Stat du'season... I think you can do that now starting out. But if you made some mistakes in season 2/3 it is hard to cover that up now. And of course this assumes you have a team of owners that are active and listen and willing to work with you...

No breakdowns from Slayerrico for week 5, so here's my take...

Games to watch
Q Dawgs vs Evolution - With no disrespect to the Evolution, I don't really expect this to be THAT close. The Evolution need a perfect sim to stand a chance. Q Dawgs by 13.

Cheetas vs Scorpions - One of the East's best slow build team takes on one of the remaining undefeated teams. With the right gameplan, the Cheetahs could pull off the upset. Scorpions by 10.

Dreams vs Gangstas - Its early to say "playoff implications" this early, but this game has them. These are two tough teams that are playing for seeds and whoever wins holds an important tiebreaker. Gangstas by 6. Game of the Week

This would be a very impressive turnaround from the comparative team strengths last season. I'll need to see it to believe it. I expect Dreams to get a solid win, say 14-21 point margin.
