1: St Petersburg Red Tide: Have been scary dominant this season. They are allowing 1.8 points a game on defense and are scoring 156.8 points a game. The best team they have played are the 2-2 vikings and they won 76-7. Their next game comes against Samarkand and will be the first real test for the Tide this season. They face Samarakdn, the Valor and the Seahawks in their 3 home games. If they win all 3 of those they will go undefeated in EEA1 Zeta

2:Samarkand: Have been putting on a show to get to 4-0. They are allowing 7.8 points a game and scoring 145 points a game. The best team they have played are the 3-1 Mambas and they beat them 77-17. Samarkand has an explosive offense, as always, and a solid defense. Their first real test comes on 1/11/09 when they have to travel to Kirov stadium. Samarkand will probably have some trouble beating the Tide and the Valor due to the explosiveness of both those teams.

3: Grid Iron Valor: Is letting up 17.3 points a game and scoring 129.8 points a game. Of the top 3 teams they are the only team that has faced a solid opponent, the Seahawks. The valor beat the Sea hawks (3-1) in week 2 26-17. With a solid O and D they look to make a run for the title this season. To do that though they must beat the Tide and Samarkand which might be hard for the valor. The valor has shown that they will give up points this season and both the Tide and the Wolverines can score a lot of points.

4: Greek Gods: They are allowing 1.8 points a game and are scoring 84 points a game. They have a long, long....long road a head of them. they have not played any of the teams in the top 8 yet and they are going to have to beat some of them to make the playoffs. They are going to have to beat either the vikings, mambas, turkeys or dynasty. I do not think they have a chance to beat the valor, the wolverines, the tide or the seahawks.

5:Lefkada Ionian Sea Hawks: Allowing 15 points a game and scoring 66.5. Sitting at 3-1they lost to the Valor in week 2. Lefkada should be the 4 seed for the playoffs after they continue to beat the teams below them and after they beat the gods. I do not think the Sea Hawks can beat the Tide or Samarkand as the offensive weapons are to many on those teams.

6:Wroclaw Mambas Allowing 28.3 points a game and scoring 51.5 They are a mid tier team and are sitting at 5-1. The critical games for them this season are with the Vikings, the Dynasty, the turkeys and the Gods. The good things for the mambas is they already beat the vikings and the dynasty. If they beat the turkeys and the gods they will be the 5th seed for the playoffs. If they can pull an upset they will jump into the top 4.

7:Vancouver Jive Turkeys: allowing 46.8 points a game and scoring 37.8. For the Turkeys to make some noise they are going to have to win at least 1 of their swing games against the vikings, gods, dynasty or the mambas.

8: Dynasty: Allowing 32 and scoring 73.5 a game. Sitting at 2-2 they are right in the mix for the bottom half of the playoffs. What hurts them is their loss to the mambas. They still also have to play the big boys of the conference.

8.1: Vikings: Allowing 30 points a game and scoring 69.3 a game. They have lost to the mambas which hurts them in their fight for playoff seeding. They have already played the tide so that is one less thing for them to worry about in the future. They need to beat the dynasty the gods the turkeys or the seahawks to assure themselves a spot in the playoffs.

The bottom 4 teams are going to be fighting over the seeding for the playoffs. The mambas have an advantage because they have already won 2 critical games so I believe they will be the 5 seed. There is going to be 1 team left on the outside looking in between the vikings, the dynasty, the turkeys and the gods. I believe the gods will not be able to finish their season as they started it and they will be left on the outside looking in.

1: Red tide 16-0
2: Valor 15-1
3: Samarkand 14-2
4: Seahawks 13-3
5: Mambas 12-4
6: Dynasty 10-6
7: Vikings 10-6
8: Turkeys 9-7
9: Greek gods 9-7

Good write up - think you've got the end of season top 4 placed correctly though would love to upset the prediction.

well i think the top 3 really could go either way. I think the tide are a little bit too deep and strong and should go undefeated on the season. Grid iron has shown they can give up points, specifically i look to the sea hawks game. I think the valor wolverines game could go either way. Both are strong teams, with good ai and good owners.

So, for GIV to give up 2 TD's and a field goal to a team who shares a 51 overall, is looked at as a weakness?? Interesting...

And in the write up, you cite that Valor gives up points on Defense and may have a hard time against the wolverines and tide. Which i am sure will be good games, win or lose, but i would like to remind you that we put points up on offense as well. It does not matter if you win 150-0 or 10-9, a win is a win.

well I also looked at the game where you gave up 28 to the renegades of funk which is the most they have scored in any of their blow out losses. I am just saying my opinion not trying to ruffle any feathers.

Right, let's use scores made while a team is on cruise control. All heil the all mighty fucking Red Tide.....Again.... This is all we heard last season. Your reports all started the same, how good the fucking tide are.

Wow, how can you even use that phrase, with those match ups. Have you even played a green bar team? Ok, you had the vikings, how in the hell did such an inferior team score a point on you? How fucking dare they..... Vikings, they gave you one for sympathy

actually if you go back to last season I did not put the red tide at the top last season. We also did beat you last season.

Yeah i know the start of our season was weak that is why we scheduled the scrimmage against the 51 overall lake eerie menace. Who we beat. Our scrimmages in the preseason against Dc, which we lost, and against the Iron curtain which we won were both with "green bar teams" also.

But hey if cursing makes you feel better about yourself be my guest. Sorry if i didnt agree with putting your team first or that I said a slight criticism about your team. Would you like me to say that your team is perfect? that you are going undefeated? I called it how i saw it and no need to throw a little hissy fit here.

If you have a problem with my reports do not read them.

And yes with those scores I will use those phrases. Bad teams did not score on us..even when we are in cruise control. Bad teams have scored on you when you are in cruise control. We absolutely man handled low lvl teams which is being scary dominant to me.

sorry my name is nitschke. You must be confused still. I dont want to give up points I want to score as many as possible every game. If that makes you not like me then fine. dont like me. But dont come at me with these annoying little remarks, whining and cursing. Yes I think the Tide is very very good. I also think valor and samarkand are good. But i saw you give up 28 to a shitty team and I said something about it. If you dont like what I have to say come up with a legit argument instead of just complaining about how i think the tide is good.

Ok, you won the game in S6, but we won in S5, and you in S4 so you are 2-1, congrats on your accomplishment. By the way, winning by 4 points is a win, not a beat.

You cna bring all of the criticism you desire, but what I'm tired of reading are the "flaws" of other teams, but yet Tides shit never stinks? Every game you lost last season was "How in the hell?", not our D got worked. But, you won't hesitate to use that type of verbage for an opponent. All I'm saying is don't just write the reviews for the sake of trying to show how bad the tide are. That's all these are about, never an actual review.

haha yes I am gonna tell you my weaknesses so it can help you beat me. I am gonna say well when you run this play against the tide you get yards EVERY time.

Also a win is beating someone.

And I never complained about AI or anything. I was gracious in every defeat we had. If you read any of my reviews last season about the tide I specifically said where the weaknesses were with the tide. I said that a lack of depth in the secondary and on the d line will hurt them. Last year I gave tons of props to samarkand for beating us. They forced the tunrovers to change that game.

I remember you whining and crying about your AI being wrong and thats why we BEAT you...or WON against you..whatever phrasing you want to use you got an L.

Here is a quote from my preseason rankings referring to the tide". Weak spot by just looking at levels appears to be the low lvl TE. " If you read down the line everyone is dissected like this. Sorry that I only saw 1 weakness with the tide. Want to show me more?
