Without everyone elses cupcake games Josh Ferrell (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=958250) of the Renegades of Funk is one of the top HBs in the league. He's on a slowbuild team so he's only level 16. But whereas most HBs in this league can only put up good stats against cupcake teams, Josh Ferrell puts up impressive stats against decent teams.

Yep, he had a couple good plays. But my guess is Valor, like us, had those plays when the team was way ahead and backups were getting thrown in.

I dont talk a lot of shit on here..ever..but the Red Tides D from top to bottom has great depth and we are fast as all hell. Dont think you will gash us like that.

Lol, you can't use backups as an excuse when you're only playing a level 16 HB. Also, just comparing the defensive players on the first TD to your depth chart 9 of your starters were on the play only your backup FS and CB were on.

Once you remove those three plays, you averaged .87yds a carry on 19 carries. Big difference from 9.4yds on 22. Tide, with their depth, is gonna stuff you, even when they go to backups and prevent defense.

haha fair enough. We have a big game next against samarkand next though. Gonna be a big test for us.

He'll run worse against Tide than he did against us or the Smexies especially as defence isn't exactly the wolverines strong point.

But those 3 plays DID happen.

I'm perfectly fine with my HB getting stuffed most of the time when he's against defenders more than twice his level. But as our slowbuild team gets better and my HB levels more and catches up he'll be making more than 3 big plays a game......

Not trying to take anything away from what he has done, but fatigue may also play a part in some situations. In blow out games the winning teams D usually gets pretty tired. But still to be a lvl 16 and scoring in the league is impressive, nice build.

Granted, in two of those plays, he did outrun our backup FS, Yui Ichikawa, who is a hot Japanese chick we added to our roster to counter the effects of the Lefkada cheerleaders. Usually, HBs run right directly towards her rather than away from her. Maybe your HB doesn't swing that way?

Lol if you really want to get in it with my team, here it is cutie pie, We were in 3-4, the three plays you hit us for long drive scores, ALL on the same side, with the same backups in, not to mention we could go through the entire list, if I really wanted to snuff the team your RB is on, I woulda dropped it to 4-3 and played it safe with 50% blitz ratio, but instead, I ran with 3-4 95% blitz ratio, 50/50 Pass/Run defense.

I dont mind bragging, but if your gonna try to defend yourself, we will too, not to mention a RB cant win every game alone, great job for giving credit to your linemen, and hogging it all.

And since this thread is titled "Top HB's in EEA1" I figured we need to put our guys in there. Two back splitting carries, combined stats 1567 yrds, 45 rushing TD's, 269 yrds receiving with 6 TD's... Best one-two punch in EEA1.

and yes we have only played "cupcake" games... but they are cupcake games because we are that good. At the end of the season we will see how everyone looks after everyone gets there shot at all teams.
