a couple top end games this week should make things very interesting in the standings along with what looks like some really good matchups throughout.
San Francisco Webzoners VS Houston Toros ... San Francisco's built a great start to the season with impressive wins over both Fremont and the Growl. Houston on the other hand came in without an identity but may have started to figure things out with a few gimme's to work out the kinks. this could be the game of the week right here with a couple potential powerhouses bound for the playoffs. one's my team so no prediction.
LaCrosse RiverRats VS Fremont Warriors ... another possible game of the week between a pair of top tier western teams. LaCrosse has bullied through a lighter schedule but there's no reason to doubt their strength. Fremont lost a heartbreaker to SF in week 2 but bounced back nicely against a strong Death Valley team. while i'd like to pick Fremont, there's no reason to go against LaCrosse at this point. 38-31 LaCrosse.
Milwaukee Fire VS Appalachian Mountaineers ... this on paper looks to be a pretty good game but it seems to me that the Fire are beginning to figure things out while the Mountaineers still have some work to do. we'll see what Appalachian figured out during their bye week against Bayou but i dont think it'll be enough. 55-21 Milwaukee.
N'awlins Voodoo VS Philadelphia Fighters ... N'awlins is a bit tough to predict right now because they havent really played anyone from the west yet, but their ability to put up a lot of points against Jersey in week 1 leads me to believe they'll do so again against Philly. Philly disappointed last week and i'll hold off any expectations until they begin to prove themselves. 48-13 N'awlins.
SOUTH GEORGIA GROWL VS Death Valley Devils ... great matchup right here. both teams are able to grind out games and if that trend continues this one will be very close. each has played a similar schedule so this one's a bit of a toss up but i'm going to go with South Georgia being able to put up more points than Death Valley's prepared for. 42-37 GROWL.
Philadelphia Marauders II VS Fort Sam Houston Rangers ... Philly wins by 100+
Farkistan Demons VS Chinese Bandits ... another interesting matchup. both teams have the levels to compete but things arent firing on all cylinders. i think Farkistan has the edge here because they appear to have more ability to get up for closer games. 31-20 Farkistan.
Bayou Bengals VS Flappin' Skunk Farmers ... i'm not even going to guess.
