Hey guys, I have 2 guards that I am currently slow building and would appreciate any advice on the matter from people more experienced in o-line building. I know I am going to cap str and blk first, but my main question is should I go ahead and second cap these first or move on to agility after 1 cap? Also SA's. I know I wont put any points in sa till at least level 25, but Im wondering if I should do 1 as run blocking and 1 as pass blocking or what you all suggest.

Both as run blocking imo.
It's better stat wise in a very strict sense for a guard if you do it in order, strength/blocking/con as high as you'll ever raise them with SP then agi, since they're majors vs minors and in this case get more automatic leveling gains.
But to be honest with you, the difference is tiny. Your build won't be much better or worse with either route.

Ok thank you very much for your response. I much appreciate the advice.

@mandyross: About 3 for every 2 caps.
@OP: I wouldn't necessarily condone capping con, but that would be appropriate stat wise if you ever wanted to do it in your career. Personally I don't like con for O-line unless their team sucks... Right now, pass rushing is pretty weak (though I don't know how that'll change in the future) so your con won't deteriorate much unless you individually have a bad build; in which case, you might not even be competitive. It's debatable. lol
As for doing str/blk back to back or one at a time, there is literally no difference statistically in SP value.
It's the difference of 66 str/62 blk and 64 str/64 blk; their total is the same but one is higher. It just depends on what you value more. If you see them as equal do them equally, if you think one is better do it first.

sounds good man, thanks alot for the advice. I think I will keep them as even as possible. As far as confidence goes, I will probably only worry with it as far as intense training with vision after the ones I see as more important (str/blk/agi) are capped.

I think confidence helps with pancaking, but I don't have anything other than some basic observations to back that up.
Either way, if you want a beast runblocker... Take both to the third cap, and then you should be fine never touching them again.

DW, blocking first or str first? i would only agree with str because after blocking first, there's nothing left to train str

Yeah, I like doing strength first.
I did blocking first on my LOT and now I'm in the position where I have to normal train strength at some point (which pisses me off because normal training is crappy). I just didn't think ahead about it. It's too bad there's no strength/stamina, strength/agility or strength/vision exercises.

Training blk at 48 or 60 is fine. It might go slower than you want, but it gets the same value as if it were around 30. Just saying for combining with str/blk, it isn't so bad at those values.
