not much movement this week, Copenhagen moved up one spot and looks like a team that might challenge for a playoff spot. Madrid and Marseille will battle it out this week for the honor of worst team in the conference.

Alpha Games of the Week

#1 dax atlantique storms (3-0) vs. #6 South Yorkshire Aftershocks (2-1)
after 3 easy games to start the season the Storms will face their first tough opponent in this league. what we've seen so far is that they can be scored on so if the Aftershocks can get a defensive stop here and there they could upset the conference leader! I won't say South Yorkshire wins but it wouldn't surprise me if they prove me wrong.

My prediction: Storms by 16

#9 St. Petersburg Knights (2-1) vs. #10 Copenhagen VooDoo (2-1)
Copenhagen has been a pleasent surprise so far and they could climb the rankings if they prove to be capable of beating playoff-caliber teams. Both St. Petersburg and Copenhagen seem to be fringe playoff teams and can't afford to drop this one if they want to get into the postseason, especially the Knights since they already lost to South Yorkshire.

My prediction: St. Petersburg by 7

Plague should be a tough matchup, they've destroyed everyone so far.

I still don't understand why Valetta is so low at 3. By far the best team on paper (48 rating as of today), we killed South Yorkshire in our first ''tough'' game and, unlike dax, all our players our around the same level (no starters lvl 32-33)....meaning we don't get killed when backups get in the game!!!

I guess we'll just have to prove ourself on the field!!!!!

well, I wouldn't call #3 "so low" but after going through yesterday's games I can guarantee you that there will be a new #1 in next week's rankings!

Please don't take the Bengals lightly! Dont look at that first fluke game and think you will beat us. It will be Plague and Bengals in Conf Championship!

fluke or no fluke - to move up the rankings you'll have to beat the top teams! unfortunately, you won't get the chance to do so till week 8 when you'll travel to Valletta.

anyway, I can guarantee you that no-one will take the Bengals lightly!

imo vikings are the strongest team right now. i'm sure dax will drop all the way down to 5 after their game with the eagles.

I agree with that statement.
The Eagles have a very powerfull defense though and the Plague have very nice depth and an overall good squad.

Looks very close on Alpha side.

Having gameplanned against the storms and Valetta...Valetta is the better team in my opinion.

I dont think it's low either just think we are better than the storms...

unfortunately, we don't play them till the last game of the season
