Another week packed with superb games. It is still early in the season, but some teams are already in danger of falling behind, and the fight for dominance has already begun.

Trying to point out the Game of the Week in each conference, but there are so many its hard to choose, especially in Elephant. If i didnt pick your team's game, its because you smell.

Still buried in work, and also been getting the PowerRankings ready to go, but will try my best to get to as many games as possible.

Enjoy

Lion:

Seychelles Island Sea Wolves at Mozambique Starvin MarvinsGAME OF THE WEEK
2 of the 3 undefeated teams in Lion face off here, as the Sea Wolves travel to Mozambique to play the Marvins. Both teams are top of the line, and the tickets got sold out in less than an hour. Both teams are currently 3-0, so the winner would get an early lead on another close competitor. Not to mention the tie breaker, which could make all the difference after week 16 is played. Both teams have effectively neutralized the opposition so far, and how this game will unfold is hard to say. With 2 teams this good all around, it will be up to the day form of the O's and D's whether this game will be a trench war or a shoot out.
MSM slight favorites

Katanga Diamonds at Sahara ShadowChasers
Sahara had a good win against Zimbabwe last week, while Katanga lost a hard fought game against MSM. Sahara needs a win to keep up with the rest of the leading pack, and Katanga need a win to get back on track before the 2 upcoming games against fellow AA#1 promoters PHP and CVH. Sahara are favorites, but Katanga has the team to play ball with the best, so should be a close game.
Sahara favorites

Ethiopian Starvin' Marvins at Fort Wayne Generals
The Marvins are storming the fort, and General Chivas makes a final stand. Ethiopia has won 3 of their 4 previous meetings, and are also favorites this season. About as close to a grudge match as you can get in these shuffled leagues, it should be a good game, with much more than just a win on the line. Both teams are 2-1 and need the win to stay in gear and not loose terrain to the other top teams.
Ethiopia favorites

Tijuana Thundercats at Gabon Forest Dragons
Gabon are big favorites in this one. Tijuana doesnt look to have a good season, and Gabon should be in the top all the way.
Dragons > Cats

Ivory Coast Diamond Hunters at Beltway Bandits
The Hunters have a solid team, and will have to do something very weird to not win this one against a weak BB team. Their rush O should have a good day, and i doubt BB has much to respond with.
Hunters > Belts....(!?!)

Jupiter Snipers at Cape Verde Headhunters
Lol

Sun City Undertakers at South African Bulls
This sure is a game

Elephant:

Kibwezi Choppaholix at Richmond RaidersGAME OF THE WEEK#1
Super game here between 2 very good teams. Kibwezi has gotten the best start to the season, and are currently 3-0 along with 4 other teams in Elephant. Richmond is 1-2 after 3 very close games. 1 won by 3 pts, 1 lost by 3 pts and 1 lost by 1 pt tells something about the competitiveness in the league. Richmond have met tougher opponents every week so far tho, and could get right back into the hunt with a win here. Should be another close one, and with this good teams, the winner will be the team that best executes its game plan.
No favorite

Mogadishu Malice at Tunis AspsGAME OF THE WEEK#2
Another game featuring 2 top teams, the Asps task on the Malice. Both teams are aspiring to the #1 spot, and a win today is crucial for both. Mogadishu might need it a bit more, as they already have 1 loss, and a win here would put them above the Asps because of the tie-breaker. The Asps on the other hand could seriously distance one of their biggest rivals with a win here, as a 2 game lead is a lot, even later in the season.
Mogadishu favorites

Gambia Diamond Cutters at High Plains Drifters
2 more 3-0 teams square off, and yet another team will loose its undefeated status after this round. The Cutters won a close game against RMoG with a strong performance, while the Drifters defeated the Jinx. Both teams have a huge potential, and a win here would only improve that image.
Cutters slight favorites

Casablanca Sultans at San Dimas Saints
This is a very important game for both teams, as they will likely be battling for the same spots at the end of the season. The Sultans won a close game against Kilimanjaro last week, and seem to have shaken the week 2 loss off. The Saints have had 3 great showings so far, 1 in a close close game against Cairo. A lot on the line, and it could be decided in the last minutes.
No favorite

Kinshasa Rumblers at Real Men of Genius
Silly game

River Styx Jinx at Kilimanjaro Sno-Caps
River Styx have gotten a bad start to the season, and need to start winning games to have a chance of a decent seed, let alone play-offs altogether. Kilimanjaro lost a close game to the Sultans last week, but have looked strong and should win this one.
Sno-Caps favorites

Boston Dogs at African Arms Dealers
The Dogs suffered another big loss last week, this time against the Saints. AAD have also got some severe beatings so far, and both teams really needs this win. They both have talented squads, and simply need to get in gear again after the off-season. Boston looks strongest atm, but it could be a close game.
Boston favorites

Cairo Cannibals at Mozambique Thundercats
255-0

LOL How do I always get picked as the leader, I hardly even help gameplan anymore (Probably why we are 2-1 IMO)

Good luck MSM. Well, not too much luck, I'd prefer we win Either way though, I have a feeling this should be a really good game like last year.

It's almost game time. I'm tired of waiting. I've been waiting all day for this game to sim.

+1

I always spend the last half hour of my work day on game days watching game replay.

I get off at 4:30 EST and the games sim at 5, so I normally catch it after I get home. Which means I spend the whole work day waiting for the sim.
