South Yorkshire Scorpions vs. Gaul Visigoths
This game is pitting two teams from opposite sides of the tracks here. South Yorkshire, has proved to be pretty efficient on offense, but they still have some bugs to work out on the defensive side yet. Gaul, on the other hand has yet to establish anything on either side of the ball. This game will be a blow out. Scorpions win big.

Cancun Sharks vs. Koln Prowlers
The Sharks posted another monster game last week, clobbering the Superbes, 93-0. Cancun has been a juggernaut on both sides of the ball this season, but they are yet to face some good talent. However, this week they draw a good defensive squad in Koln, and we should get a little more realistic look at what their offense is all about. Koln, has yet to find an effective vertical attack, but they certainly got their ground game going last week against the Geats. I expect that this should be a pretty decent battle, but I do see Cancun jockeying for better field position, and good teams capitalize on advantages like that. In the end I like the Sharks to win by 17-21.

Paris Superbes vs. Lubeck Cougars
Lubeck draws, for the second week in a row, a cupcake squad. Paris has had a tough go of it in all aspects with the slight exception of their passing game. The Cougars, will essentially be playing a replay of their game last week against Gaul. Another blow out here, and an opportunity for the Cougars to pad their stat lines.

Paris Vikings vs. Copenhagen Vikings
These two teams are neck and neck in the passing stats, but Paris has a sizable advantage in the rushing category. Paris is sitting on top of the heap at 3-0 right now, but if they aren't careful I think Copenhagen has enough talent to throw a wrench in their plans. Having said that though, I do pick Paris to maintain their undefeated record this week, and they'll knock off the rival Vikings in a game decided by a TD or less.

Buffalo Buffalos vs. Gothenberg Geats
The Buffalos have been the whipping post of the league to this point. Week in and out, people have been dropping big scores on them, and they've struggled to find any rhythm on offense. Gothenberg is comming off a disappointing loss to Koln last week, where they maintained the lead until just after the two minute warning, when the Prowlers pounced for seven and never looked back again. While the Geats don't look to be particularily good in any aspect this season, the opposite can also be said that they don't look too terrible either. I like their foundation of players much more then Buffalo's, and I'll take them to win pretty handily.

Dinwiddie Dustdevils vs. Ukraine Valkyries
These two teams have roughly the same amount of offensive production this year, but they go about it differently. The Dustdevils have found their way on the ground (although over 900 of it came last week), and the Valkyries have struck from the sky. Defensively the Ukraine squad boasts the better stats. This should be a pretty good game, but I have to take Ukraine here. I expect them to win in the neighborhood of 14 points.

London Apes vs. Henry Patriots
If you are scanning through this weeks games, you would might just scan over this one and assume that London might be the better team here. Their record says so. Their matchup bars say so. So how come I like this matchup? Because we are talking about the two most proficient passing teams, and surprisingly, Henry has the number one ranked passing defense. The Patriots are currently on a two game slide, but it comes against two good teams, and their last one was a white knuckle affair where they too lost with less then two minutes remaining. I expect them to give the Apes all they can handle, and quite possibly a little more. It will be an upset if Henry wins, but that is what I'm calling for here. Great game that comes down to the buzzer with a Patriot win.

Shadow Rattlers vs. Montana Wolverines
The 1-2 Rattlers, meet up with the 0-3 Wolverines this week, and I expect the Rattlers come out on top here. Their defense is vastly superior, and they pack more punch on offense too. I do expect that the Wolverines will match their total point output for the season though, and will go Rattlers 45-10.

There are some tough games to pick here this week, so we'll see how it goes. Good luck to you all, and I'll see you in two more days!
