Just wanted to get something positive on the forums and get some discussion going. I put very little thought into these, but here's my feelings.
1. Revelstoke-They're here until someone beats them.
2. Kingston-Have been really taking it to teams. They could get RR a run for their money.
3. South Bend Thunder-Not really sure about these guys. A 34-31 win over an 0-3 team after two impressive wins. We'll get a better idea of how big of a threat this team is after their next game.
4. St. John's Dream-A little life this season, but certainly not impressive so far. A big win over DA REAL BEARS earns this spot though. Ranking in the middle of the pack both offensively and defensively is either indicative of not playing any of the walk-overs yet, or of not being that good.
5. DA REAL BEARS-all 3 of the 2-1 teams have lost to one of the teams above them. Only DA BEARS could have actually won that game.
6. Saskatchewan Screaming Sasquatches-Have a more impressive non-conference win over a decent team.
7. Windsor Armin's Excuses-Have some real tests coming up over the next few weeks. They could move up with some wins.
8. Casper Spooks-Barely lost to the team above them. Also kept competitive against one of the better Western teams.
9. Ottawa Force-Beat the Black Ridge Sheep to take this spot.
10. Maple Ridge Black Ridge Sheep-Tough loss to a 3-0 team in inter-conference. Some good matchups for them coming up.
11. Merced Raiders Thunder-Get a chance to jump a spot against Maple Ridge next week.
12. Niagara Daredevils-Might move up, but their resume just doesn't support it yet.
13. BC Buffaloes-Will move down. Way underleveled and getting creamed by anyone who matters.
14. Roman Raiders-3 tough losses so far. I believe they'll find themselves moving up this list with some wins coming up.
15. Oshawa Hounds-Same boat as Raiders.
16. Ensley Yellowjackets-hooray
I think this season really looks interesting. A lot of evenly matched teams. I do believe that RR and Kingston are far and away the favorites, but behind them, it's anyone's game.
