Just wondering if RG's are the primary run stoppers or if it doesn't really matter in GLB? I'm only level 2 anyways.

And which attribute is better for executing a pancake.. blocking or strength - not that it matters, just wondering. I assume there are more variables than just those two attributes, but what's the biggest determining factor.

Strength: 20.67
Blocking: 44.67
Speed: 8
Agility: 11.25
Stamina: 11.25
Vision: 10.25
Confidence: 12.67

My blocking focus is on 'no focus'.

Run focus if you want pancakes, and strength.

But don't go that route.

At low levels, I'd just focus on getting blocking, then strength to 49 and then 61 as soon as possible before doing anything else. It will really pay off later on in your career as the automatic levelling gains will be in the 2:1, 3:1 range so are more valuable.

Ignore pancakes for the meantime. Do not spend any points whatsoever in the pancake SA, or indeed in any SA - they are wasted at low levels. (below level 25 or so - debatable)

However, Run Focus will help you to get one or two more pancakes a game on average.

Alright, thanks.

I didn't intend on spending points in any SA's until I capped both at least, probably even the second cap for blocking.

Sounds good. Consider the third cap (i.e. all the way to 68) also.

Concentrate more on Str rather than Blocking for guards. They spend most of their time run blocking, and going against strong strong tackles. Str is better in the run game and blocking is better for the pass game.

Blocking is better in both games when you have the required strength to not get pushed/pancaked imo.
That said, you require a certain amount of strength to be effective, but too much is useless. There's a fragile balance. Arguably, get above what you'll need by a bit then anything else should go to maneuverability or blocking.

Not for the run game. STR makes you better in the run game, and the more the better. while having respectable maneuverability and blocking.

I agree with this. STR even helps in the passing game as well.
