Not once, but twice a CPU player caused a forced fumble that lead to a TD. Not taking anything away from French Licks win, they had an awesome gameplan against us. But this is flat out ridiculous.

And one got an Interception and made the top five players of the game.

For Pete sake, he was a lvl 34 CPU player. This is completely unreal.

Yes Compton is limping into the season as we have lost 9 key players due to one agent's inactivity and I'm struggling to keep a team together that has been on the verge of making the turn until this.

I'm very close to just throwing my hands up and saying "Screw it!!"

Who knows, maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

Don't do it. I know it gets frustrating at times, but you have a good team and you would be a definate loss to this league.

I pay money into this and get crap in return. It is hard to just keep doing that, especially when the crap stinks this bad.

I have been close myself several times, this game has a way of doing that. Hang in bro, you have a good team and we need your kind around here.

I can feel your pain man, but stick in there. Its tough to turn a team around but I've seen teams do it and you're real close.

Heheh the mega punters a few seasons ago come to mind.....

And sometimes stuff just happens. Look at possible fix's that you actually can work on and go from there.

I just got back from taking a couple days off. Forced myself not even to log in. I was probably a bit beyond where you are right now. Had my finger on the sell team button after my tirades Friday night.

A couple days away helps a ton. Even if you don't gameplan for a game, it just helps to step back and realize how little this game should matter in the scheme of things and how just because the game seems to suck in a new and worse way each day, doesn't mean you should internalize it. It's not you, its the game. The game may come back to you if you give it enough time.

Let it roll for a few weeks. Make your decisions at the end of the season.

This is good advice.

Yes, do take a couple of days off.

Also, do yourself a huge favor and hire a recruiter who actually likes doing that crap. Make sure that they only have the ability to send contracts only or you'll set yourself up to get screwed. If your new recruiter starts whining about not being able to make trades when he needs to, tell them you need to review all of those things for the best interest of the team and protect the players. If they keep bitching, fire them and find a new one.

Name is familiar.... i think you had a player on my team... anyways. For the first 3 seasons of this game i ran my team, recruited, OC and DC, scouted and did that too for other teams that i GM'ed for. That all and well paid of with gold and silver cups for me. But it burnt me out. So i took a step back, Hired a OC, a DC. i did the fiances and recruiting. and on the teams i gm.. i was there for advice.

Now its season 7... and bort added enough stuff to make me want to OC again. So im refreshed. Im not saying quit the game... im not saying that. what im saying is delagate that shit you hate to others who love it... trust them. let them run it. it isnt all that hard and you wont be so burned out.

I'll take the advice and chill a bit.
It was just a lot of crap at one time at the beginning of this season and it made my blood boil.
Add on the fact we went from being a potential playoff team to losing to a lvl 34 CPU player, it wasn't hard to fly off the handle.
I hired a DC last season and that has taken some of the stress off me.
I guess once we can every land the elusive DT's we need the stress won't be so bad, if that ever happens

Maybe it was WOW or some online first person shooters that you remember me from. I did WOW like crazy for the first 4 years (including beta). Officially retired from it at the end of this past summer and have not had the desire to go back. I had many Druids (Tauren and NE) on different servers with that name.
