Figured I'd create one thread for conversation about this weeks impressive slate of games, since people seem to be talking on a bunch of different threads that we already have started. The big matchups, of course, were Denver / Hartford and Waco / Las Vegas... both of them ended up as rather dull contests in which the favorites amassed a big lead and relied on defense to finish the game out. Both Hartford and Las Vegas scored a touchdown late in the game, but the games weren't really contested.
The big news, I suppose, is Dallas's victory over Bel Air. Taken with their 3 point win over Vegas in week 4, Dallas is rapidly legitmizing itself, although they have late season dates with Waco and Denver still to come.
Another great game was Scottsdale's close win over Spicewood, and 2 of the conferences doormats, while being soundly blasted, managed decent defensive performances against better competition.
Conference is starting to heat up though.
