This has been asked and answered numerous times. Most of us showed up at the end of s4, spent s5 rebuilding our chemistry/reworking ai, and just came up short in the po's last season. No great mystery. No running or hiding here.
You probably better token up for us. It will make the scissoring a little less severe.
