St Petersburg Red Tide. Had a tremendous offseason and signed a lot of talent to the team. Not only are their starters high levels but their back ups are also. Very deep on defense and at the offensive line. High level players at DT DE and LB. Weak spot by just looking at levels appears to be the low lvl TE. Has two strong RBs, great QB, an o line that is solid from top to bottom and a solid WR corps. They control their own destiny. Went 1-1 in scrimmages with loss to DC and a win over Iron curtain.
Grid Iron Valor. Solid from top to bottom. Only low spot seems to be the back up TE. Did a good job recruiting in the offseason and has brought together a team that will make a run in EEA1. To go a long with the solid team they are good at game planning.. They went 2-0 in their scrimmage games. One in a blow out win one in a gut check game. They won the gut check but had issues running the football.
Samarkand Wolverines. Has some low levels on defense, at the secondary and d line spots but has a solid O. Samarkand will put up points on any team with Rafa at QB and Viv running the rock. They have a good group of WRs that will catch the rock and everyone knows Rafa will air the ball out. Their defense has to come to play for them to make a run to the championship. They went 1-1 in scrimmages with a win over the Curtain and a loss to DC.
Lefkada: Has some low levels on D and the O line. Lost a player maker at WR in the offseason so that may hurt Lefkadas potent offense. PJ is a solid QB and will put up good numbers again, if his o line can block for him. The defense has some low lvls in the front 7 and may have some issues stopping teams offense. They went 1-1 in scrimmages beating the Raging bulls and losing to the Hammers
Stockholm Vikings Has a decent team put together but with some weaknesses that will prevent them from being top tier in EEa1. Their O line is some what low level and their defense has low levels, especially on the d line and in the secondary. They have some play makers on offense but will have to play above their level on defense to compete for a home playoff spot. Went 2-0 in scrimmages against the Legion and the Seer
Wroclaw mambas: Their strength is their starers in the secondary but are very week at DE LB and at the O line. They will have trouble controlling the line of scrimmage in critical games. Bad Buzz will have to make plays on D and Good buzz on O for the mambas to be successful. They went 1-1 in scrimmages losing to the Express and beating the bulldogs.
Luzitian Dynasty: Going to have a lot of trouble on defense with only 1 player on D over a lvl 30. Their offense will have to score a lot of points to keep them in games, but their offensive line does not appear strong enough to hold off the better teams defenses in EEa1. Their Fb is also a low lvl which will hurt them in both run blocking and pass blocking. Their QB, McKlugs, is going to have to make plays on the run in order to keep them in games. The WR corps is low lvl, the #4 is a 14, and not deep. They went 0-2 in scrimmages losing to the smexies and the tycoons.
Turkeys: They are basically all lvl 19s and 20s but they are all human players. The rest of the league has cpu players or single digit players starting. They will not be able to compete with the rest of the top 8 but they should be able to beat the low lvls and cpus. They went 2-0 in scrimmages beating the wolfpack and the impalers.
There is going to be even a bigger difference between the top and bottom of Zeta this season then last. Zeta has 1 cpu owned team, multiple teams with more then 10 cpu starters and other assorted gutted teams. The greek gods may be able to fight for the 8 seed but their level 11 starters on the o line will doom them in games with the top half of the conference. Should be a good fight between St Pete, GIV, and Samarkand for the #1 seed. St Pete dominated Samarkand in the playoffs but lost in the regular season to them. They also won a close game with GIV in the reg season, and GIV is itching to return the L. GIV beat samarkand in the reg season. If any of those 3 teams beats the other 2 they will go undefeated on the regular season.
