Okay, we've got these conversations going around in weird places, so I thought i'd dedicate a thread too it

First off, Round 1, who ya got bitches!

NFC Wild Card

Philly Vs. Minny

I've seen both teams play a good amount, and I've seen my own Detroit Lions play 2 VERY good games against Minny. This, and the fact that they are only 10-6 in the worst division in football, makes me believe PHILLY gets the nod.

Philly by 13.

Atlanta Vs. Arizona

Both teams have had stellar, surprise seasons, there's no questioning that. I think this one is going too be a shootout, and it'll be a classic case of, "who's offense is better." This could be the best game of the Wild Card round IMO. I'm going too give the nod too the ATLANTA FALCONS.

AFC WILD CARD

Ravens Vs. Miami

I feel as though this will be the most lopsided game of Round 1. Both teams had good years, and they each shut up a lot of doubters. But I look at that Miami team, and I say, "how." How in the world? They've had a great season, but it comes too an abrupt end, RAVENS win big.

Ravens by 21

Indy Vs. Chargers

The Chargers, such a pitiful 8-8 season, yet they somehow sneak in. Although they've played like shit this season, I expect them too play a tough game with that star-studded team. But that doesn't mean I give them the nod on this one, COLTS win.

Colts by 14


Round 1 is finished, blast me, agree with me, I don't care.

I'm a Patriots and Boston College fan living in Baltimore who also admires LaDainian Tomlinson. Go Ravens, Falcons and Chargers. If the Dolphins, Steelers, or Colts win the Super Bowl I'll be very upset.

Philadelphia by 7, Atlanta by 10, Miami by 3, Indianapolis by 14.

Philly will drop minnesota. Tavaris jackson is not a real QB and will be terribly inconsistent in his sole playoff start. Phillies D is just too good for the minn O. The vikings will find out early that they don't belong there.

ATL VS AZ

Ima have to go with ATL on this one. turner will run thru that D. If atlanta can even get a smidget of pressure on warner he'll choke. AZ's o is overrated. Sure, they have great Wr's, but an average O line, and no run game spells disaster in the playoffs, especially with that weak ass D

BAL VS MIA

Baltimore. That D is too good to get tripped up by a gimmick offense

IND VS SD

San Diego in this one. The Colts are one of the most overhyped teams this season. The only reason why people even think they're good is because of the soft schedule and every sports Media sucking manning's sack. Manning is that team. The D is terrible. Peyton has issue with the Charger D, they have his number.

The Chargers are one of the most dangerous teams in the playoffs right now. and, at home, on a saturday night, coming off of an emotional win over Denver, they are going to be Ultra aggressive down field finding holes in that weak ass Cover 2 D of the colts. Then, run LT straight them. The chargers are the most talented team in the NFL, and more importantly, they feed off of the energy of a premier nationaly televised game. That team will come out fast, strong and push the colts D around. Manning will have a hard time vs the chargers D. It won't be nearly as close as people think.

The Chargers will then loose next week vs Pitts.

When the Chargers are playing in a Premiere home night game, they are the best team in the NFL. When they aren't, they're a bunch of whiny, quitting, under achievers.

whoa lionsfan, i understand you must be really down right now after being the first team to lose every game but no need to take it out on everyone else, and remember i am hurting to not only did my cowboys choke again but we are keeping our coaches and that worthless romo so next year is not looking alot better.

I don't see all four road teams winning this week. If I had to pick one home team to win, I'll go with Arizona.

If he goes all pass no run like he did vs washington they will lose if he stays honest and mixes it up they will win.. Im going for the home team on this one and picking vikes by 3. I think Tjack will do enough I dunno why people hate on him so much , I wld rather have a qb that could move around then gus the statue in the pocket lol...

Jackson is innaccurate, thinks with his feet, not his brain. Rarely looks downfield when he's on the move. has poor footwork which equates to poor accuracy. His best game was the game against NYG, and even then he wasn't great. he gets by on Adrian Peterson, but that won't be enough come playoff time. The vikings never should've cut Thigpen.

Lionsfan... nice picks... I agree with most of your picks, but not the spreads

Philly v. Minny... I agree on Philly, but I think it'll be closer than 13. I'll give it 6. With the home field, a great defense, and AP... can't count them out, but Philly will pull it out. I think Philly looks hot coming off that Cowboys game, but remember, divisional rivalry against a weak Dallas Defense... I can see a Minny win, but doubt it. [Philly -6]

Battle of the Birds... Atlanta should pull this off, but I think they'll stumble. No playoff experience, playing in Az v. former Superbowl MVP Warner... too much for the Dirty Birds to overcome. If this was next year, they'll kill'em... I'm thinking Arizona by 10.

Ravens v. Dolphins... No way the Fins win! But Ravens by 21? Ravens D will keep the Fins to FGs, but their Offense might only come up with 21 points on their own! Ravens 24-9 over the Fins, so Ravens by 13.

Indy v. SD... This is the game where the regular season doesn't matter. Both teams are hot. Both teams have experience. Hometown SD and LT will help them keep it close, but I think Peyton kicks it up and Rivers won't.. Indy by 5.

Coming off the huge emotional win over Dallas, I would't be surprised to see this. But I'm not with you on Jackson. The key for MIN is Peterson.

hmmm I dunno what games you watched but I live in minney and have actually watched all the vikings games and compared to his first 2 weeks as the starter week 1 and 2 to his benching and coming back in the 2nd half of the lions game he was a totally diffrent QB in some cases hes still raw but he must be more accurate then Gus 12 tds 15 picks ( not excatly my pick for managing a game) and as far as thinking with his feet the only game where he has ran for anything was the ATL game and thats the worse game Peterson had all season not neccirly, tjack.. heres the stats for the last 4 games with tjack..

So he had he had 741 yards passing 8 tds 1 pick a 63+ comp% and had a average of 125 qb rateing with only 70 yards rushing....

Dosent look like he thinks with his feet with me the only other qb to play the last 4 games with a higher QB rating was P Manning so ya.... I wouldnt say the giants game was his best game either.. Sorry for all the stats but I live and breathe Football and ive noticed a serious change between then and now..

on a side note no matter how many times i try to space it out the numbers just combine togther lol
