Time for the coach firing game! Rules are simple: Pick the order of the coaches you think will get fired. Here's a projected list:


Rod Marinelli and rest of Detroit staff
Herm Edwards- KC
Marvin Lewis- CIN
Wade Phillips- DAL
Romeo Crennel- CLE

You can also add a coach you think will get fired that's not on the list. Extra points.

HOWEVER, 2 points will be taken away for every pick not on the projected list that isn't fired. That stops people from picking every single coach.

1 point to a pick that's on the projected list
2 points to a correct placement
3 points to a wildcard pick (coach not on the list)
4 points for a correct wildcard placement

Phil Savage has been fired already from CLE so Crennel firing is obvious. NE have a nice "starting kit" for either DET or KC: QB Matt Cassel, Head Coach Josh McDaniels and GM Scott Pioli.

Rod Marinelli has been fired as the Lions head coach. I'd make a joke about this, but the Lions are already hilarious enough. I see no reason to add more.

Patsfan grabs 2 points for correct ordering, and octa and I get 1 point apiece.

Romeo Crennel has been outed as head coach of the Cleveland Browns. This will be the last outing for the Browns this off-season, as Brady Quinn still refuses to leave the closet.

Octa and I get one point each.

And finally, it is being reported that the Jets have fired Eric Mangini after missing the playoffs. Rumor has it that on his way out, Mangini could see Brett Favre wagging his dick toward Mangini's face.

No points for that.

So, three-way tie as of right now. LET'S SEE HOW MUCH FURTHER THIS DEVELOPS.

Mangini fired (I didn't saw that coming) so maybe he will return as a Coordinator.

Browns want to talk with Scott Pioli to make him his GM, so he could take Josh McDaniels to Cleveland. Also I guess many teams would like to talk with some Giants coaches, there could be a future Head Coach.

can we get Norv Turner on that list?

guess have to wait till after the playoffs. just cause he got lucky and got in doesn't mean he should get a free pass.

He is a Bellichick boy, is like a soronity. Either he could DC the McDaniels team or become a HC in a GMed team by former NE personnel. The key this year is Scott Pioli, where he goes a Bellichick boy goes with him.

Now, Jason Garret is being interviewed by the Lions. Really? the Dallas offense is mediocre, the team start to get in road when Wade Phillips take care of the D by himself but the offense totally bail out and Garret is getting interviews. Isn't enough to be the best paid (mediocre) coordinator in the entire league?

The Lions should make Calvin Johnson their GM, HC, OC, QB and every position he could help.
