No, it was actually our first real game last season... but even with our broken AI's we still won handily. I like some of the Sultans guys quite a bit so I mean no disrespect, but the OP has even less ground then the new teams who won their championship games to say that they will be atop the league. Im tempted to work up some actual power rankings for old times sake.

Meh, I started and then gave up. I dont want to spend 2 hours tonight compiling a decent set of Power Rankings. Lion was going to be a pain in the ass to do and would have required quite a bit of research. I think there are 3 or 4 teams who are clearly at the top (I wont name them) and 2 teams that are obviously at the bottom (Bulls and Snipers are all CPU). Aside from those 6 I think the other 10 are all about even with a few having a slight edge.
Elephant was looking weaker again this year as usual. Seeing as how I dont play there ill be happy to list my personal opinion on the top teams. I think the Chopaholixs are going to come in and dominate, they are my early pick for conference champions. Id be shocked if they went 16-0, but I expect 14-2 or 15-1. I think the perenial powers of the Malice, Drifters, and Saints will find a way to get it done once again so I will predict them being 2->4 in no particular order. Its hard to gauge some of the new teams. None of them are true slowbuilds aside from PHP so we wont have any DD's. They were playing against competition weaker than the AAA level so its hard to get a good read but I think a few of them have a shot at being solid at this level. All our guys was recruited after players was created, and quite a few were all new to GLB. Both Coordinators(me included) had no prior GM experience, neither did our owner. So we arent some power house who all know each other and planned a team together 
Both RMoG and Richmond will be contenders for a top-4 spot i think, RMoG isnt much less impressive than DD for their lvl tbh. But with all the new sim stuff it is kinda hard to predict anything. Vet pts have surely given the older teams another edge over us young teams tho.
I'm just looking forward to good games almost every week, and hopefully we can beat the spread

Went back and figured this out... not as bad as a scrim game since we go with a vanilla offense, but not much better since it was with a DAI that's been scrapped due to how bad it was.

Think being the key word here DD were a season older than RMoG are now when they won the league, and the teams here was a season lower lvl's. So with 2 whole seasons of effective difference, it should naturally be harder for RMoG. And Richmond might be a season 5 team, but age doesnt really matter when you have all lvl 40+ starters i guess heh. We still have 95% of the players we started season 5 with.

Well it CAN be. The thing is that when older players were created, game mechanics were different and their agents didn't have as much knowledge as they had later on.
A guy like my CB Lyght (created season 1 day 29), who boosted 3x when he was created and 3x at the start of season 2, is hardly superior to one created 3 seasons later but boosted late...
