We're back by popular demand 
Bort said the season will start on Sunday with the 1st preseason games to be played on Monday. I want to give everyone plenty of time to scout the new additions from AAA and look at the changes to the old Pro rosters.
We'll see when our preseason games start and I'll open votes as soon as those 1st games end. We'll run it the same way as last year with a few minor tweaks. We'll stop the poll on Week 14, by that point opinions are worthless and the standings speak for themselves. We'll also tally the points as follows:
1st place vote = 20 points
2nd place vote = 18 points
3rd place vote = 16 points
etc etc etc... This should eliminate ties on the final list each week. I'll also post how many points each team earned next to their name on the list this year.
For everyone who just joined APL, welcome to the poll!! This is how we run it...
After each game, one person from each team can submit their choice of the Top 10 teams in APL in order from 1 to 10 to me in a PM. Please put your team name in the header. You can vote for anyone you want regardless of conference, including your own team. You can only vote for a team once per list, don't be a smart ass and vote your own team 1 thru 10 like some 2 game team did last year, I'll toss that list. Only 1 list will be accepted per team per game, so decide who will represent you each week. If two people from the same team send in a list I'll count the first one I get. I never reveal who voted for whom, it is all done by secret ballot, so vote your heart with no questions asked.
I usually close the voting the following night when I get home from work between 5 and 6 PM EST. I tally up the points and post the results here. I do not vote...ever. (My rankings suck, just ask anyone who was here last year hahaha) I just report what is sent to me each game, with a little fun info attached at the end.
I hope you all take advantage of this poll. It's pretty fun and people seem to enjoy reading and debating the results. If your team isn't ranked as high as you think they should be, the 1st question you have to ask is "Is your team voting?"
I'm looking forward to another great year in APL. Last year had a very exciting finish to an awesome season, let's keep it just as fun this year.
