After new ownership took over the team two seasons ago, and then the core of the team wanted to be released so they could go play for their owners' teams, the Stampede had a rough go of it last season going 0-16. The new owner created a number of players to fill the holes left but those young players were too inexperienced to make much of an impact.
As a result, the team has moved down to the A level and been renamed the Lynchberg Lingerie Models. The "talent" if you know what I mean, of the team players this year is vastly improved. have a look at the team and see for yourself:
