It looks like there are 4 CPU teams in the league that Zeta champs move to.

I am wondering if any knows if that means that 4 Zeta teams are moving up this offseason?

Not sure. I would think that they would take the top 4 in the entire AA#2, and not just teams from Zeta. Other than the 2 spots for the conference, there are 3 more openings for teams. I would think that they would just take the best teams, and not just from that certain conference.

As much as I'd like for Ohio Valley to move up, I would rather do it by winning the Conference and earning it.

Oceana AAA#1 will be filled from our league and AA#1, and they don't keep it in conference.

You have to start at the top and work down. The Pro league has 1 CPU team and will likely relegate 2 or 3 more. Which means they will be pulling more teams from the 2 AAA leagues, which will create more than just the 4 CPU holes in AAA#1. Plus, they may have to relegate a couple more teams.

We might see as many as 4 teams get promoted from this league. That's what happened to Boondock, Atlantis, Krakatoa and myself last year, we were all in the same league. Bort admitted in his new promotion announcement that he didn't accomplish what he intended to last season, so promotions could be even more aggressive this off season.

No, Zeta goes Zeta, Alpha goes Alpha. That's how it happened last year, that's why teams like El Fuego moved up last season. It's why the Zeta was so weak this year and why it likely will be next season as well. Keep in mind AA 1 Zeta teams will also be moving up.

I know that all the Zeta teams that moved up moved to the Zeta divsion.

While the Alpha teams that moved up ended in the Alpha division.

So if that is the case there are 4 CPU teams in the league above us and so does that mean that the top 4 Zeta team are moving up?

Atlantis in Zeta went from A#3 Alpha last year to AA#2 Zeta this year.

Well was that because they worked out a team trade?

Cause I have noticed in past season it has been Zeta moved to Zeta.

In fact all the teams I am on that moved stayed in their same division.

it's usually straight up, but sometimes teams will switch conferences if there's an imbalance and the higher rated team is in the opposite conference.

If i understood it correctly in the past. The alpha teams always stay in alpha and zeta always stay in zeta. You just move up and down.
The only situation i have ever seen or heard of somebody switching conference was if the two teams switched leagues totally. (Team Swap)

Like "Brian the Stunt Bum" indicated above. It does cause for some conferences to be a bit weaker for a season or so sometimes.

I feel zeta should be all straightened out this upcoming season. Especially if Bort plans on being more aggressive this time around in his relegating process, as indicated.

I feel for the Ohio Valley Ironmen. They may be relegated up a league and not get a trophy. That is the only thing i do not like about this system. I personally like to try and collect trophy's as i move up. It is possible to climb all the way up and never get a trophy.
As much of an honor as it is to move up. I would like a trophy also. ya know!

Maybe give relegated teams a little half size black trophy or somehing. To show that you were a good team. Maybe not the best. But real damn good. Or atleast give the conference playoff #1 seeds a little black trophy to show you had a great regular season. Like ohio valley. they went undefeated and lost in the playoffs. might get relegated and have nothing to show for a great season.

I'd want a trophy becuase if nothing else it helps with recruiting. Also, who I really feel bad for are the team who finished like 4th or even 5th in their conference last year and moved up. Guys like El Fuego took a beating in AAA because they were good but not great here and really not ready to move up.

All of them but one really struggled this year in the upper division.

Atlantis moved from A3 Alpha to AA2 Zeta with no team swap involved, so the promotion sort order doesn't seem to be conference dependant.

Alpha stays in Alpha and Zeta stays in Zeta for normal promotion and relegation only. This mass reorganization in off season from gutted CPU teams going down does not follow the normal rules.

That is why Atlantis as well as other teams ended up in a different conference.
