Some teams in Elephant seem to write off the Lion. I checked to see how the games are going between the Lion playoff teams and the Elephant playoff teams.

There have been 10 games played and Lion is 8-2.

TBH I think most of the teams in Lion are better than most of those in Elephant, but LOL and TLGoT are a good margin better than everyone else and are both in Elephant, hence that conference being the better one.

Ooops sorry to disappoint! We are experimenting with some new offensive plays btw. And defensively tried some new blitzes. We didn't really run on full cylinders. Much could probably be said of many Elephant teams as well.

I'd say the majority of all the teams playing now are experimenting.

What was the record in the week 1 cross-conference games again? At least those were regular season games. Going off scrim results is some serious lol stuff imo

Better is subjective based on what the view is looking for.

Lego's and TLGoT have shown themselves as the top teams, but are not invincible as evidenced by the Stallions victory over TLGoT. I was interested to see how the top Lion teams would fare against Gold Coast and the Stallions.

It seems kind of like the Big 12 and SEC conferences. Elephant has 2 dominant teams, followed by a couple of close teams, followed by a few that are close, then some pretenders. Kind of like the Big 12.

The SEC is more evenly matched from top to bottom and a tougher grind week in and week out, kind of like the Lion.

The question is: Can Cameroon (in Florida's role) compete with or possibly beat the Lego's (in OU's role)?

8-8

There are a lot of crappy matchups that week though. The post season scrimmages are facing playoff teams v playoff teams. Yes they are scrimmage games which no body cares about, but I still think it is interesting to see the matchups that have occurred.

Since the regular season match ups between the 2 conferences have always been fairly even, since the beginning, and again this season, I'd have to say it's pretty evident how close the 2 conferences are in overall talent. No matter how bad the individual match ups, it's 16 vs 16. There's going to be bad match ups for both sides. Imo, Lion is more evenly matched, within their own conference. Elephant is more top heavy, as shown by the coach's poll this season where Elephant had the top 3 spots most of the season, and 6 teams in the top 10 the majority of the time.

And please, don't compare Cameroon to UF. I actually think the Gators have a shot at beating OU. Maybe it's more like Big East vs NFC...

***(for the record, that's a jab at my buddy Stout One. It's just a joke, hold the hate mail and accusations please)

Wait what the hell?

You guys think OU is that much better than Florida?

!?!?

Oklahoma has seen TWO top 50 defenses this year. Florida has put up all its points on better opponents.

Florida will beat OU.
