Cross Conference games are hard to call. Stats mean nothing because they're apples to oranges. Bulldogs have a weird record too, winning some games I wouldn't expect them too when they lost other games I would have expected them to win.

Ultimately, it will come down to tendencies and AI. Both teams made it this far, so obviously both teams are playing really well right now.

Either way, it should prove to be a good game.

I just think Barcelona has too much momentum coming in. So far in these playoffs, Barcelona is outscoring teams 171-41. They haven't scored less than 51 in a playoff game yet. They have the #1 ranked offense and defense in the league and are 19-0 and just blew out the 2 opponents that came closest to them (besides the Piggers) in the regular season. They've seen the best and beaten the best which is why I see Barcelona winning this game.

Official Prediction - Bracelona - 45 Bulldogs - 21

RCR beat the Bulldogs handily in the regular season opener, and RCR was swept by Barcelona. Therefore Barcelona > Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs aren't the same team as they were then. They probably would have beat you now...

I'm still thinking Barcelona has this one in the bag though...

Barcelona > Bulldogs> RCR

we (minsk) had a pretty ok Defense this season, and Bulldogs had very little issues with the stuff I like to do as a DC

I think they'll do alright. it should be a 1 TD game either way, I think

Us Bulldogs don't normally toss out too much trash talking but I figured it was important to point out a couple of things.

First of all we've played a lot of 1st class teams along the way this season.

It is true we are a completely different team now than we were at the beginning of the season. Take a look at this game if you need proof http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=244085 . Now don't get me wrong the Diaper Vipers are a great team but we have come along way since that drubbing.

Last, going into the last week of the playoffs we were actually sitting in 5th place in a 3 way tie for 3rd. We were atleast 40 points back on the other two teams. All 3 of the teams in the tie had relatively easy games ahead of them but we still managed to toss up enough points to move into third.

This team is on some kind of a roll and playing at what I would consider their best level. Is it enough to win tomorrow? Well I'd like to think so but I'm willing to leave it up to the sim to decide. Our players and GM's will prepare themselves and gameplan appropriately to put us in the best position to win. Like I said, will it be enough? Time will tell.

Good Luck out their Barcelona, and congratulations to all on a great season!

Not sure how anyone can come in here and say anything other than "Barcelona is going to kick that ass"

Wow really I thought our team was a little better than that. But just so I know what are we like a 14 point underdog or more?

I think both teams have grown a ton. We went from an overtime win vs. the Gods and a close win over River City to blowing out both teams in the playoffs. Trust me, we wont overlook your team and know you guys are great competitors. Best of luck tomorrow.

Great post, it is nice to know we're playing an organization with class. That will make me feel better about it should we lose tomorrow. However, cross-conference games are hard to judge. What have the bulldogs seen of us? What can they use to compare to us? And we of them? Nothing.

Bulldogs are obviously a good team, they're this far. They also have shown remarkable improvement during the regular season. However, the trend is to think that the top team did not improve like everyone else did. I think this is usually proven false.

Who will win? I don't know but the suspense is killing me. While we're ready to play and win, I think our team respects our opponent.

Looking forward to finally seeing how accurate all the talk of the disparity in the conferences actually is, or isn't. Should be fun to watch!
