GG. Very close. Our defense just outplayed yours, keeping you to no TDs and 4 FGs.

There are 3 CPU teams in WE A#6, so I assume you'll be coming along for the ride there... so we'll have more fun next season.

That's the definition of a good game, close all the way through, and a chance to win right up until the end.

GG to you as well. Was a defensive battle that is for sure. Not much offense on either side really. We had more total yards but you had the important stat of more total points.

I told our team that you would run that WR screen a ton this game... it was pretty obvious. What the problem is with that strategy is that the WR screen will get you all those yards, but you aren't scoring a TD with it. So it bought you some FGs, but you have to run the ball to score points, and we were pretty successful stopping your running game (1.68 YPC), while we averaged 4.35 YPC. So, we were able to score in the red zone (when we didn't fumble or throw an INT).

I dialed down my blitzing to stop that WR screen from becoming a TD play. I thought about using dime when you came in with the single back set, but I didn't want to give your running game any chance of success. My hope was that you would try to run a lot. If not, I hoped that you would pass your way down the field and try to run in the redzone, creating a lot of FGs. I was lucky to have success there.

On offense, we just wanted to use the clock and work with our strength this season... our running game. We ran a lot more sweeps than I wanted, but it worked out OK. The fumble in the 2nd Quarter on your 23 was a big problem, and if I didn't already know the outcome before watching the game, I would have thought was the backbreaker play for our team. But we came back and battled in the 3rd.

Four actually, one down in the Zeta conference too, or do you stay in the same conference (haven't been playing long)

I beg to differ.

Was that against us? No. You weren't ever going to score on that play in the redzone against us... which was my point.

What is your problem, anyway? Always argumentative, and always a poor loser. Geez. Even valakar, the guy I've been blasting for a week, was well mannered in defeat. You're an idiot.

It is fluid. Non trophied promotions can end up in either conference. Trophied promotions end up in their same conference as best I can tell.

If you're going to start another arguments like the one that you did with Bjelasnica, you're going to lose again. I blatantly just proved you wrong, and you can't handle it.

And just letting you know, I'm a "perfect" loser to anyone other than your team, who I can't stand, and for good reason. You've been blasting me all season, so I think I have more of an excuse. You're the asshole, so everything evens out.

Lame Buer.

Title of thread: GG Dresden
Team addressed in thread and analysis: Dresden
Game being discussed: Dresden v Dublin
Assumption as to whom "you" meant in original and subsequent posts: Dresden

You are being argumentative just for the sake of being argumentative.

Also, you have used the word "blatantly" incorrectly. From my reading of your post, a word you may have meant to use was "conclusively."

Not that you will ever see this since you said in another thread you are done with this forum. However, a few responses to this just in case you do read it. Your gameplan was solid but I take partial exception to the comment about running the WR screen alot (or maybe we have a different definition of alot). Either way your defensive line deceivingly looks weak yet stopped our run game cold (congrats on that). We did not run as much as you probably thought we would, yet did not pass the WR screen as much as you probably thought we would. The balance was good the results not so good (especially the run results). I wish you would have went dime against singleback that would have changed things considerably. Anyways best of luck to your team in the future.
