It was a misty morning at the Hive. The Panthers came in confident, but not cocky, as they knew Bath was going to give them one hell of a battle...and so they stepped on to the field...
Quarter 1
Poco Twill opens the game up with a message as he boots one into Bath's endzone for a touchback. Bath goes three and out as the Panthers are fully geared to stop Speedee McGee and Karl Sabin.
The boot to the Panthers sets them up on their own side of the field near the 25 yard line. The Panthers open with an impressive 75 yard drive capped off by a 5 yard strike from Raz to Jarvenpa.

The Panthers kick the ball back to Bath, this time opening with a brilliant 30 yard return that sets them up on Polk's side of the field. Once again the Panthers defense answers the call as McGee and Sabin are stopped cold on a 4 and out turnover on downs...
As the Panthers take over, all looked to be going well, until the Bath defense comes to play. Jon Holloway, who had given Polk some troubles in the first meeting, comes up with a big INT to keep the Polk from a big score.

Starting on Bath's end of the field, Polk is on the attack again with a couple big strikes through the air. Bath's defense tightens up in the redzone and holds Polk to just a FG in the start of quarter 2.
Quarter 2
The next 3 drives were defensive friendly as nobody could get anything going on the field, however once again just when it looked like McGee and Sabin were going to put something together, Hungry Beaver puts a forceful hit on McGee that sets the Panthers up yet again.

It was a short lived glory for the Panthers as just when it looked like SAVAHO was going to put them right on the cusp of a score, Jack the Ripper comes out with a big hit of his own...

Bath decides that this is just the momentum they need as they roar right down the field towards the end of the first half. With 2 timeouts, just over a minute to play, and the ball on the Panther 15, its looking pretty good for Bath to get on the board...until Hungry Beaver strikes again...

Quarter 3
Panthers open up with the ball with all the momentum and push to Bath's end of the field. Poco Twill sets up for the 55 yard field goal and its MISSED!
Bath takes over with decent field position, but yet again are stifled by the Panther defense.
Starting at their own 10, the Panthers give a drive that would pretty much stick a fork in this game capping off the 90 yard drive with a six yard strike from Raz to Maday.

Guns McCoy steps into action for the Bee's as they need to strike through the air...a little rusty from standing on the sidelines all day, McCoy, not used to being in this position, shows his jitters by air mailing one right to the Panther defense in T Ariza.

Sabin, knowing full well they need to get a quick score chucks one in the air on second and inches from their own 16...this would prove to be the nail in the coffin as the Panthers home run hitter knocks one out of the park once again...Kenny Arbs with the 28 yard pick 6 ends any hope the Bath fans have as the crowd starts emptying the stadium...
