Stary Oskol Black Belts > Helsinki Hellrazors

That's to take nothing away from Helsinki, it's just that I think Stary Oskol has the best overall team in EEA#3 right now. Helsinki appears to have the higher starter levels and perhaps best depth, but they seem somewhat one dimensional... if SOBB stops the run then Helsinki is stuck, but SOBB can attack with either facet. It'll be close, but I just don't see Helsinki coming out on top (short of using the three-play offenses that EEA#3 has seen in this season's playoffs).

Belarus Death Machine > Cypriot Freedom

The only way I see Cypriot getting the win is by spreading their play calling and taking an early lead. I don't think the Freedom have the running game to take Survey Says out of the game, so it all lies on him. He gets 4 or less sacks and the Freedom win a squeaker (as the Bucks had a chance to do)... he gets 5 or more, and BDM marches on.

Do we have a league enforcer that we can utilize to break the legs of Survey Says?? The guy's a beast and we have no answer for him, he murdered us last time!

This is actually quite hilarious...people just don't want to admit to the fact that the team was out-thought! I mean, if Roger Clemmons went on the mound, and decided to throw curve balls all game, and no one could hit it because they were ready for the heat...would he be "cheap" or tactical?

If Oklahoma comes out in the BCS and does nothing but run the triple option...because they are a passing team and UF prepared to stop the pass, are the "cheap" or tactical?

If you are a run first team, and I come out with the Goal line defense against your "running" formations and you never pass, but yet you normally run for 400+ a game...am I "cheap" because I did something out of the ordinary and you didn't mix your play calling up enough to get yards or tactical?

I'm just really getting sick of hearing about it, it's a damn game and our OC did what he needed to do to get the win...and the worst thing is the people complaining about it wasn't even part of the team that got beat. So get over it already, vote us the underdog or whatever, it doesn't matter, just get on with the game already.

Done...where can I get those? The local street pharmacists are all round up in my area and the stores are packed with non-working soccer moms!!! Can I mail order them in time for the game?

a better analogy would be something like... if you and i both coach little league baseball. we're talking like 8 year olds, where the coaches pitch underhand from about 10 feet away.... and i tell all my kids to lean over the plate and get hit.... or bunting in t-ball.

Wow, I didn't realize we had so many young people playing this game...you are right then, you have a much better and accurate analogy. I figured we were all either adults or teenagers, my bad! Having only adults being the coordinators and 8 year old as player owners, makes much more sense to me now...thanks for clarifying...although, I guess as an adult player owner, I must be in a serious minority.

That's a great analogy for this situation. Teaching 8 year olds to stand 10 feet in front of a batter or to intentionally and repetitively violate the rules of a game is like running WR Screen all day.

Fucking genius right there.

Like running WR screen in dotball, that is. I mean, WR screen all day in an NFL game would be like if we all coached little leaguers and taught them to beat themselves with the bat and blame it on the other team hoping for the ump to give us a forfeit victory.

i get the sarcasm... but i really have no idea what kind of a point you are trying to make. or, are you just calling me juvenile because you feel defensive?

my point/analogy was that doing something within the rules can work... and be both tactical and cheap.

anyway, goodluck the rest of the way. our season is over, so i don't really care. just doing the forum troll thing.

Nope, not calling anyone juvenile...actually just the opposite...I consider everyone adults here, not 8 year olds.
