The Impalers dominated at every position on the wheatfield and held an offense used to scoring 30+ a game to just 10 points.

The Meltdowns rushed all over the Tanners in their 34-20 victory amassing over 300 yards from their HB's.

Meltdowns V Impalers in the alpha title game. Both teams are franchise type teams meaning no player ever leaves and everyone's committed long term to the cause of winning and have high powered builds everywhere. Should be fun.

Zeta
snooze--chalk wins easily here (though the crush did well in a 41-17 loss) and the D league faces the Constantinople Romans in the Zeta title game.

could be an all slowbuilder final? find out shortly!

Aggressive Behavior can't wait to get his hands on The Creature and to maul Bunny Hop! It's gonna be a fun one in the trenches!

The last game was a classic with the Impalers falling just short in their 4th Q rally!

We were within one score in the third quarter, but our defense finally wore out on us. Constantinople's defensive line is a beast -- totally swamped our offense.

From the first round losers bracket:

#8 Alpha - Swift Sharks 10-14 #6 Zeta - Florida State Warheads
#4 Alpha - Berlin Devil Dogs 37-21 #8 Zeta - Caspian Sea Dragons
#7 Alpha - Budapest Samurais 42-7 #7 Zeta - Rome Colossus
#6 Alpha - London Wildcats 62-37 #5 Zeta - Chernobyl Nuclear Assault

I guess it's a shame that the Home didn't play in a more competitive conference maybe they'd get a chance to see what some real teams looked like. Regardless of who wins in the Alpha, I have a feeling the Home is going down.

well the top 5 in alpha I think would've all been #2 in zeta. It's been a tougher overall conference since the inception. That said, zeta has always ended with the best overall team and the dleaguers are probably still that though not a lock in the final for sure. The impalers have a strong overall team and the meltdowns are a similar slowbuild squad. Should be a very close final one way or the other. (yeah I don't see dleague losing the zeta final but you never know when an insane wacky sim spits out)

if the meltdowns win it'll be irritating for us to see a team we beat by 41 win the conference haha.

Truth. However, without giving it away (since you really don't want the dleague to win)...you know that you just put together a great game plan that no one else even bothered to try and beat us like a drum....you also know that plan wouldn't work again.

I didn't say we were going to win by 41 in a rematch did I?

We are looking forward to this game, didn't expect to make it this far and are very fortunate to be playing against you guys in the conferance finals.

Actually the dleague vs Crush game was fun to watch until the 3rd, then it got away real quick.

I'm actually pretty scared...

I have a long history of wacky sim-spits with other teams...

Honestly at this point I don't feel like we have a chance...

Berlin Devil Dogs - check
Woburn Tanners - check x2
Wheatfield - check

3 of the top 5 teams...

And I see you're a GM on DLDT...

check x2
