OK, Buer and company. It's the game you wanted. Dresden vs. Dublin for promotion. Your chance for revenge after a 37-13 beating by Dublin last time. Unfortunately, I expect this game to be a lot closer.

The question for me is: Do I throw the game to keep from going to A too soon, or do I try to win and just get the shit kicked out of us next season in A?

Like Buer said somewhere, I don't plan on getting rid of my guys for higher level players to compete if we win... So why not just stay here for another season? It's a fun and competitive league.

We'll think about it.

So, we told Amsterdam what we were going to do against them. I think it's only fair to tell you guys as well. BTW, this is for Bjelasnica: We will NOT tell you guys anything IF we are lucky enough to beat Dresden... so don't get your hopes up

Anyway, in our first game we ran a lot of off tackle stuff to our left, where we could only muster 4.5 yards per carry. We were most successful getting outside, averaging 8 YPC outside. So, we'll probably use our speed and run a ton of sweeps against you guys. We'll be 50/50 run/pass. So, we will try to throw a lot of long stuff against you from 3 WR sets, since only your top two CBs are really fast enough to keep up with our WRs. We will use the Wildcat a little more against you as well, as it seems to work very well.

On defense, you guys ran primarily up the middle in our first game, so I assume you will do something different since that didn't work well for you. Although, I think that your Malta GMs thought you could do the same thing Malta did to us, and that may be why you ran up the middle all day getting less than 4 YPC. You also ran to the right an AWFUL lot. I assume your best blockers are on your right, and we'll be there waiting for your backs. I don't think we'll have a problem with your passing game... last time, you threw predominantly medium passes. You can't throw deep on us, since our DBs are all well above 80 speed... so we'll look to stop your medium routes again. Between our blitzing 60%-75% of the time, and our good DBs, we aren't worried about the pass game. If you can run on us, you can win. But you won't pass on us.

Overall, we feel we matchup with you guys better than Amsterdam. Your defense is good, but it has weaknesses that we can, and will, exploit, just like we did in our first meeting. The keys for this game are simple: Dresden needs to be able to run the ball, and shore up its defense against us. If they run well and keep us under 21, they have a chance to win. If we score more than 21, they won't win.

Unfortunately, I think this game is going to be close and will come down to the wire. I hate close games, and would prefer to see a big lead for Dublin early, where you guys will have to pass more, working into our defensive strength.

Only thing I have a problem with is referring to my GMs as "Malta GMs". They're completely separate, and completely trustworthy and I'd appreciate if you'd quit being an asshole like this.

I love the "we might lose on purpose" line. To be clear, will you tell us, cheerie, before the game whether you're going to try to win?

Exactly, it is like you planted your excuse in advance. I mean what are we to hear now if you do lose. Well I told you I was going to lose to stay in A (which is the biggest chicken shit cop out I have ever heard and you should be ashamed of yourself for even thinking it). Or if you win, well you guys must not be that good because we were trying to throw the game.

I was on two cap 13 teams that advanced last season and both made the playoffs (with original team plus a few additions or changes) as the 8th and 6th seeds. One one their first playoff game to lose in 2nd round. These teams will again dominate in season 7 in AA. Another team I am affiliated with in season 4 as a cap 13 went 19-1 and advanced and still made playoffs as 8th seed in season 5. This season team went 15-1 and lost a heartbreaker in 2nd round of playoffs.

So why am I telling you this you can win in any league if you have the heart or guts to try and surround yourself with loyal great guys that are team players and want be competitive yet play for a good organization.

I am not saying you do not have a good organization but you are not representing it very well when you make claims like that. Nothing burns me more then the "We should not get promoted crap." Even though I agree teams should never get promoted after just one season (and have sent support messages and suggestions in main forum to say we need a two season system where nobody gets promoted in first season of a league and double promotion in 2nd season). That all being said try to fix the issue instead of claim you are thinking about throwing games.

Enough said by me but god that really pisses me off.

Sure, I'll tell you.

Buer, never said they couldn't be trusted by Dresden. It's also obvious that you guys used the exact same gameplan, offensively AND defensively, that Malta used against us to win. And, also, as I've said before, our gameplan was thwarted by the lack of space error that Bort fixed in week 3 (which just turns out to be the start of a long winning streak). Anyway, there's no doubt information was shared between teams via the GMs. There's also no doubt Malta lost so convincingly due to the GMs. So, again, I have no doubt there is complete loyalty to Dresden.

Fortunately, for me, either Dresden won't be here next season, and the problem will be solved, or Dublin won't be here next season, and then I won't care So it works out well for me

OK, I've decided to win, by the way. I'd rather get my head kicked in at the A level than throw a game against Dresden. If it had been us and Amsterdam or Philly, I would have put more thought into the options.

just about every team ive heard of that threw the season in the 1st season ended up breaking up by the 3rd season because they failed to make it up in the 2nd season.

the teams you play are going to get better. can you be totally sure that your team will stay ahead of the curve so to speak.. i doubt it.

I don't speak for anyone else, but I doubt I am the only one very happy to hear we're going to get your best effort.

Now you are really pissing me off. You now question my integrity? Are you kidding me? I have nothing to do with the OC/DC on Malta nor have we conspired in some way or another. Transfer of information well to be honest the only transfer of information is what I know. I cannot say 100% I do not know what Malta did in their game against you since I am able to pull up that game and watch it and obviously I share information with myself.

For the record I posted on both boards that I was torn and wanted both teams to win (impossible). People that are good at gameplanning find weaknesses so again has nothing to do with "sharing." I am done trying to talk with you in a rational manner. I am also done trying to convince you of something when I have no reason to even care what you think.

Not to mention, the Malta owner didn't even question your loyalty.
