the dleague coming off a disappointing not covering the spread game face off against the columbus crush coming off a big win in a high scoring affair. Dleague beat them 90-6 in their previous encounter which doesn't bleed optimism here but I would take columbus to cover if the line was indeed +84.

The romans get their revenge and took my advice to burn down rome to the tune of a 83-9 victory. BTW--when you're down a zillion did going for it ever cross your mind? Sure it didn't matter but damn. They have 2 QB's they use equally which is pretty rare. They now face the Javelinas who escaped with a 7 point win over florida state in the boring game of the week. Their earlier meeting was a 17-9 snooze fest so hopefully it won't be so ugly this go around.

In alpha... Both games are co games of the week

Impalers win in a snoozer over saratov. Wheatfield win a crazy first round game and they now face off in a rematch of last seasons first round thriller when the wheatfield tried to blow a 31-3 lead early in the 3rd quarter and escaped by 7.
With the wheatfield having improved moreso than the impalers since their week 2 encounter just flip a coin here.

Pro OC tip to the wildcats--don't punt on first down.
The meltdowns and tanners win relatively easily and now face off in the other co game of the week. The tanners won ok in their earlier meeting but those sneaky meltdowns hit that magic boost button making this another tossup.

any of the 4 in alpha clearly have a solid shot at winning the conference so this next game for the 4 teams will be so intense not only in their teams semifinals but figuring out who'd they would rather see in the finals (lol) should they escape with a win in the semis.

2 15-1 teams in alpha and neither can like their respective semifinal opponents. If you like what should be entertaining playoff games than alpha is the conference for you.

thanks

i revamped our AI for the playoffs... unfortunately the one output was meant to be "pass" and was actually "punt". Didn't catch it, don't know how that happened.

My predictions

Wheatfield beats Impalers in a shootout. It will come down to who can stop the others offense, as the Wheatfield's passing attack should be superior to the Impalers defense and last time the Wheatfield played the Impalers, the Wheatfield couldn't stop much. Wheat is much improved and will be gameplanning hard, so they squeek out the victory imo.

I'm taking the Tanners over the Meltdown. The Meltdown have a very strong offensive line that normally can dominate defensive lines and run all over them. Won't be the case here. Tanners defensive line is very strong, and I think the Meltdowns will have to throw the ball to win here. The Tanners on paper should be underdogs, but Steeks will find a way to win. Plus, I want to meet the Tanners in the championship game to show them we can whoop them when it counts.

D-League over Columbus by 35. D-League is good. I think if Columbus were in the other semi they would win it.

Constantinople vs Terlingua is a good matchup. Neither squad is that much better than the other, but I see Constantinople dominating. Terlingua has a fairly conservative running approach that I think can only win if Constantinople throws a lot of interceptions. Constantinople by 17.

Thanks daman, doubt we would beat either of the good teams on this side, but I appreciate the 35 point spread. Dleague is one sick team and the romans and dleague should be a great matchup in the finals.

GG Romans. Our defense gave us a chance, but your defensive line is out of this world -- totally dominated our offensive line, which I was something I'd never considered possible.

That was a fun game -- I love defensive slugfests.

Aggressive Behavior shows that the first Tanners game was a fluke and avenges his only 0 pancake performance of the season!

Great Game! I somehow lost track of the score watching the game and thought we only won by 10 points. Our passing games were almost exact also.

thanks but it really wasn't it was a win the conference or bust year for us like it will be next season. You guys just had better players especially that sick O line. You can't just find builds like those in free agency and the type of teams that never lose players and build well have always done great in the long run--just look at this season as a classic example.
