Now there are two big games this week. Belgrade still has a chance to get the 5 seed. They need to upset Basin City, and hope San Diego can do the same over Oklahoma. Chances of that happening... about as good as finding a marshmallow in a snow storm. Basin City is a 28 point favorite.
Now to the big show.... Kilkenny at Transylvania.
This has huge playoff seed implications. If Kilkenny wins, they lock up the #1 seed and keep Transylvania in the #4 seed.
If Transylvania wins, Dublin steals the #1 seed, and we have a log jam at #2 with Transylvania, Basin City, and Kilkenny all tied, and all having beat each other. I have no clue what the tie breaker is. So if Transylvania wins, it's going to be interesting to see where everyone ends up.
Kilkenny is on a 14 game winning streak, not losing since week 1 to Dresden. Transylvania is coming off a tough loss to Dublin, but is looking to rebound at home. I think you gotta have Kilkenny as the favorite here, by about 7 points.
