Well I'm not gonna go too nuts on this but figured we haven't had a writeup since the 14th week and this looks to be an interesting set of matchups so thought it needs one. I make no claim to having any clue on picking scores, i just guess at them.

(1) Khodumodumo's Revenge 15-0-0 vs (2) Tripoli Terror 14-1-0
Two powerhouses of the league finally square off. This game will determine who takes the #1 spot this year in elephant. Tripoli has a slight matchup advantage over revenge and have the home field but the Revenge are definately the team with the momentum. However i think the Terror will overcome with their monster D and win this 42-20.

(3) MaRAWK!! o 13-2-0 vs (4) E'ci FAlkruns 13-2-0
Another good matchup of top teams in the league who both have much to gain and lose by the outcome of this game. A loss by MaRawko will (if i recall the rules correctly) drop them down to 5th place due to head to head with Iowa. A win here and a loss by Tripoli should place them into 2nd place due to the win over Tripoli. E'ci has the opportunity to push into 3rd place or remain in 4th for the second year in a row. I am biased but I see a tough game with lots of scoring to come and tough win for E'ci 45-36.

(5) Iowa Fortress 12-3-0 vs (10) Free For All Elite 6-9-0
A tough year for both teams. Iowa expected to rank higher by years end than they are. FFA expecting a playoff birth. Iowa still has a chance to claim a home field game but requires E'ci to win (plus their win this game) to claim it. FFA has had a tough season moving up from Africa A last year and building up talent to compete. I think Iowa is going to go nuts on this game and pile up the points. Iowa wins 56-21 to make sure they get the best chance they can at home field in the playoffs.

(6) The Chad OchoCinco 9-6-0 vs (15) Cairo scorpions 1-14-0
Chad 85's, guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, will not let up on this game and plow over a battered Cairo this week to make sure they hold onto their 6th place spot over Happy Hour. Chad will dominate over Cairo 48-14 but look for a few sparks of success early in the game for Cairo before they are flattened.

(7) Happy Hour 9-6-0 vs (9) New World Order 7-8-0
Another interesting matchup (along with the next game) that will determine what the last positions of the playoff picture will be. Happy Hour is a lock for a playoff spot but a win by NWO and a loss by dakar can push NWO into the 8th and final spot. It's a long shot but anything can happen in this league. HH Definately has the Chemistry advantage but NWO has an overall higher level of starters and their matchups place them close. I think NWO will pull a surprise upset in a very close game- NWO win 35-31. But with the next game will still not be enough to push them into the playoffs...

(8) Dakar Lightning 7-8-0 vs (10) Shawnee Whiskey Tango 5-10-0
Dakar is playing for their playoff life with this game. I think they will try their best to make sure they hang on to their spot. Their win over NWO earlier in the season makes the 8th spot theirs to lose. However i think they will pull up their boot straps and push on to victory this week over a struggling SWT team. Dakar wins 28-10 and holds the 8th spot.

The last 2 games, as they have no bearing on playoff spots i'm going to pass on, though the famine will get a break playing the autowin CPU team.

Predicted Final Playoff Results

1. Tripoli 15-1
2. Revenge 15-1
3. E'ci 14-2
4. Iowa 13-3
5. mRawko 13-3
6. Chad 10-6
7. Happy Hour 9-7
8. Dakar 8-8

Playoff Rounds:
1. Tripoli 15-1 vs 8. Dakar 8-8 (Tripoli win)
2. Revenge 15-1 vs 7. Happy Hour 9-7 (Revenge win)
3. E'ci 14-2 vs 6. Chad 10-6 (E'ci win)
4. Iowa 13-3 vs 5. mRawko 13-3 (Iowa win)

I'll stop there with predictions. As i said i'm just picking from the gut, not through massive analysis of each team. Feel free to disagree

Enjoy

The Tripoli-Revenge game will be an epic battle. I would love to see Tripoli win but this game you cant guess the score.

However I am hoping E'ci can pull off the victory!

Good write up man

Good stuff, thank you.

As I look back at the nWo vs Dakar game earlier this season, they had a goalline stand with less than a minute to go to keep us out of the endzone and bring home the W. Looks like that has come back to haunt us. Glad we still have a shot, but it does not look good. Good luck Dakar and Happy Hour, and go Tango!!!

Great writeup, one thing really stands out...

How on earth Marawko could be 13-3 and not host a playoff game.

Really great competition in this league, and no matter how it shakes down, its been an interesting year.

Just goes to show how close the top teams in the league are. I mean it is amazing. Especially when you look at where the RAWK has been and where they are now. Same goes for E'ci.

While I agree the Khodumodumo vs Tripoli game is the premier matchup this week. MaRAWK!!o vs E'ci is right there too. what a week to watch games in our conference. I think that both games will be epic battles.

E'ci GL to you guys and may the best team win. Both of our teams deserve it for what we have gone through in previous seasons. Iowa, Khodumodumo, and Tripoli GL to all you guys as well since we have been together for several seasons. Let's put on a show for these guys and show em what Africa AA#3 Elephant is all about.

Definitely a nice game by you guys! We'll be a little better prepared for the next one though! We'll both need to make it to the conf championship to meet in the postseason.... I hope we do I want REVENGE

I feel our defense gave us the victory today... Mack Strongarm had a rough day. Either way I think both teams will be moving up next season

Compared to last season and this season, it is awesome to see the Top 5 teams are separated by 2 games. And yet.. we there was no drama haha

I thought we were dead at half time. Too many three and outs, too many plays for the defense. Our defense is impressing me pretty regularly....especially since we signed FredEx's guy.

Great game...another one. I've really enjoyed the league this year. Maybe we can all get promoted!!!!!!!

First season owner here, Springfield Isotopes. It's a very large learning curve being an owner. I've been a player since season one, but never had a team. Hell, I just found this forum, lol. I did notice that we weren't included in the predictions.

"The last 2 games, as they have no bearing on playoff spots i'm going to pass on, though the famine will get a break playing the autowin CPU team."

We'll hopefully be an up and coming team soon. We are picking up a few good ones in the offseason. I'll have to come back here next season to see if we are good enough to make the predictions.

Glad you finally found this league forum man! The first season as an owner is a pretty large task for sure. I took over my team half way through a season and we did not win another game. The next season we won 9 games. It takes some time and you just have to find a solid core of agents that want to stick with the team. To bad you are a Texas fan.....
