I skipped Buffalo, got busy. we pulled off an upset there, and I want them to know they played us well. we just got a few breaks. we NEEDED that one to get in position to fight for the playoffs. If we both make it, it is likely both of us will be watching from the sidelines after the first game, anyway. But it was still nice to win. Good game, Buffalos.
Now on to Rome. Helluva defense you got there, Rome. No one but Amsterdam has come close to blowing you out of a game, and I should have noted that when I scouted. I thought we could run on you. you stopped our outside stuff cold, most of the time. nice pursuing D. nice pass defense, too.
Our kicker is who won the game, honestly, when our offense stalled out. 5/5 field goals. we got fortunate. your defense is better than your record. and it also goes to show that how a team looks on paper means diddly.
