Okay, it was suggested that we maybe just do one vote per team this season. So, how would you guys like it to be done?

Please keep discussion in the other thread, and only vote in this thread.

If anyone is muted right now, you may post their vote if they give you permission to do so.

OPTION 1
Popular Vote - I post ballots for each position, and all comers may vote.

OPTION 2
Team Vote - I send ballots to all team owners, and they can either conduct a team vote on their forum, or just pick themselves.

I like the team vote as it eliminates the ballot stuffing and outsiders voting for friends. The downside to that is that not all of the teams are on the forums and may not partake in the voting, so you could have 4 west teams and 7 east teams doing all the voting (numbers are just examples).

you could have teams select a #1, #2, & #3 player for each position, giving more weight to the #1 pick and less to the #3. that would at least throw extra votes into the mix.

it doesn't even have to be like that, but that works too.
even if the top 3 were counted as one vote each ultimately the person voted for the most by the most teams would come out as #1.

yup, just like that drk. that way if we have fewer people voting (16 per conference) there will at least be some variety and probably less likelihood of a tie.

i don't know how everybody feels about the "can't vote for yourself" rule. i could take it or leave it, but obviously it would only be applied if it was a single team vote. too hard to keep track of for an everybody-votes deal.

should teams not be allowed to vote for their own player? whatever you end up picking drk will probably be fine. its your thing. as long as we are all playing by the same rules. your gonna have complainers one way or the other.

I like this as well...give every team time to sit in their own forum and discuss each vote.

This is the best way. Owners submit the vote.

#1 - 3 points
#2 - 2 points
#3 - 1 point

Each team has ballot and can't vote for anyone on their own team.

I think that is the only way to get everyone to vote without someone having more leverage than someone else.

I don't have an issue with a team voting for its own players. If they are biased, they should get washed out by other votes.

Team vote and you can not vote for your own players.

#2 Gets 3 Points
#3 Gets 1 Point

I like this idea but if we do go with it we should have it so that you cannot vote a player from your team for the #1 spot. But, #2 or #3 is ok. That would make it interesting!
