Who here has done it in the past?

I coordinated it for BBB4 the last two seasons. I can do it here also, however I have a one concern:

The interconference games being in Week 1 hose stuff up. I really don't want to go back and subtract stats from the totals.

So, do we just say screw it and run with the stats we have? I guess if a race is REALLY close, I can go back and check.

Just so everyone knows. The way I did it in BBB4 was I selected the top 4 players at each position (6 for positions like LB, CB) and then combined the stats for team O-Lines.

you did a really good job with it last year. it'd be silly to expect you to add up all the stats for a team, and subtract a single game just because the competition wasn't the same. that's a lot of extra work. i understand the goal, but i'm definitely not going to expect that from someone who is doing this in their spare time.

i say just go for it.

Agreed. No one had any serious complains about what you did last year. Go for it.

Do what you did last year Drk. It worked well and it's the best way to about it unless you want to do it by just owners or one team/one rep.

that might be a good idea kono, to avoid voting controversy. just give all the owners the link to the site and have them vote once.

The problem is some of teams had cupcakes in week 1 this season that the rest of the conference did not get to play, and some had tougher opponents.

When we used to have interconference games on Week 16 it was easy, because I'd just grab all the stats after Week 15 as everyone played everyone.

So, yeah I think I'll just collect it all and if say HB #1 is 400 yards above HB #2 I will investigate if an interconference cupcake was responsible.

That could work. I know other leagues do it that way. I like the popular vote (even though it results in some ballot stuffing), because it gives everyone an independant voice.

I'll mull it over and come up with something. I think I am going to do something different with the video this year. The Madden screen caps are awesome, but I don't have it for Mac, and I'd much rather just not unpack my PC again and do it all on the Mac.

You have to do the video! That was pretty awesome last season. Without trying to put you through 20 hrs of work, is there a way to add the stats to that as well? Just throwing out an idea.
