I know, I know - someone tries to start a thread like this every season only to fail in epic fashion every time out. This year will be different. We are going to streamline the process in order to achieve maximum fairness. If you don't like the procedure, either leave a polite comment or don't take part in the voting. Here is how it will work:
1. Up to 50 people will vote for an Offensive MVP, a Defensive MVP, and a Owner of the Year.
2. No more than 2 people from each team will have their ballots counted.
3. No more than one player from any given team may be listed on each category on a single ballot.
4. Owner ballots will be counted before that of GMs and players.
5. Each ballot should consist of six players/owners ranked and weighted as such:
First - (10 points)
Second - (8 points)
Third - (6 points)
Fourth - (4 points)
Fifth - (2 points)
Sixth - (1 point)
6. Ballots should be sent to me in a private message AFTER the final game of the season has been completed.
7. Voting will go on until the end of playoffs at which time the OMVP, DMVP, and OOTY will be declared with much fanfare.
Here is what a sample ballot should look like:
