In the current International Economic and Financial climate where many average Joe Football fans face an uncertain future and risk of unemployment the Lions would like to make clear their disdain for the current Barbaric and flagrant diplay of wealth that many players of other Organizations are indulging in.
The Lions happily operate a Voluntary Social Cap where all players receive reduced wages and a percentage is paid into a local social fund specifically directed to providing for those that provide for us. "Zambia is not just players and Fans" said TUC " it's about unity. We are a Family - from the fans to the players, coaches and senior management. Others may continue to flaunt their money - we will happily build a better socio-economic climate for our supporters"
In further Illustration to that the Lions organisation confirmed their pending Press Conference for Day 41 where they will unveil several of their sensational Signings for Season 7. It was noted that these players would join the team within the clubs "Voluntary Salary Cap". It is rumored that various USA Pro stars will be amongst the new arrivals.
