2. loldots (41-30 Win vs. Monaco Maniacs)
13-1 (2-1 vs. Top 5)
The loldots are now in the #2 spot so the angry faces can go away for a couple days I hope, LOL. A big win for them over the Maniacs in what was a really good game. The pressure that they got on AJ Williams was nice but he was able to throw for a chunk of yards in the game (447). But 11 drops by the Maniacs (5 by Torres) and a nicely timed punt return for TD by Justice Brandeis tell the story in this one. It’s always a struggle and very rewarding to get a win vs. another top team so the loldots can be happy with the win, the bump to #2 and celebrate for a day before going to work vs. the Drunken Irish on Tuesday night. They need to prepare for this one and not think to far ahead to the final regular season game with the Centurions.

3. Monaco Maniacs (30-41 Loss vs. loldots)
11-3 (1-2 vs. Top 5)
After a tough loss to the loldots in which they out gained the dots 515 yards to 398 the Maniacs will have to quickly regroup as they prepare for another top team in the California Brew Crew. The Maniacs who have been one of the toughest teams in the league will have to hang onto a home playoff game. They need to win this game as the Pirates aren’t going to lose either of their last two games and could sneak into the #4 slot if the Maniacs aren’t careful. They played a great game against the loldots and with a break here or there in their favor they may have won the game. We’ll look for the Maniacs WR’s to hold onto a few more passes as AJ Williams continues to light up the sky.

4. California Brew Crew (96-0 Win vs. Kickback Cavaliers)
12-2 (1-2 vs. Top 5)
The Brew Crew have been on autopilot since their loss to the loldots back in November. They have only allowed 7 points in the past 4 games combined and are excited about locking up a home playoff game as well as getting back to top competition this week against the Maniacs on Tuesday night. The Crew will no doubt lean on the running of Adrian "Ozymandias" Veidt as they attempt to hand the Maniacs their first two game losing steak of the season.

5. Amsterdam Pirates (78-7 Win vs. Demon Santas)
11-3 (1-3 vs. Top 5)
The Pirates just keep plugging along and blowing out the weaker teams in the league as they are expected to do. I look for the Pirates to win out in convincing fashion and have a really good chance at taking the #4 spot and getting a home playoff game. I know the Pirates believe they should be ranked higher and I can understand this claim but the only Top Win they have is against the loldots who have only lost 1 game and can’t be ranked this low. The Pirates can kick back and wait for the dust to settle and prepare for their playoff matchups and possible rematch with the Centurions down the road.

6. West Yorkshire Bandits (83-7 Win vs. Wolverhampton Wolverines)
8-6 (0-4 vs. Top 5)
Three straight wins has the Yorkshire Bandits excited about playoff time. They know they are getting close to clinching a spot but need to keep focus this week as they have the Pirates on the horizon and don’t want anything to ruin a pretty decent season. They started off a little slow but most of that was due to a pretty tough schedule that included a loss to an Alpha Team (yuck) and losses to the loldots and Brew Crew in their first 5 games. Even though they lost heads up to the Hounds in week 2 I think this team is peaking at the right time and have really started to come together as a team. They have what looks like an easy next matchup vs. my EuroTrash squad but they are desperate and ready to go. The Bandits won’t make any noise in the playoffs but they will be there and will be much better next season because of it.

7. Ireland Drunken Irish (28-6 Win vs. Arlington Sandlot)
7-7 (0-3 vs. Top 5)
The Drunken Irish have reached as high as they can this season. With two brutal matchups to end the season it appears this team will finish below .500 and most likely out of the playoffs. However, they were bumped up to #7 because of how they have been playing lately. They beat the hounds two weeks ago, played tough against the Pirates and just came up short against the Bandits and Trash Talkers. This team has a solid Defense and good game plan but needs more offense to hang in some of these games next season.

8. Copenhagen Hounds (0-75 Loss vs. Sicilian Centurions)
8-6 (0-5 vs. Top 5)
3, count them 3 straight losses have this team in a tail spin. They catch a break in that they have already played the top teams and have a cupcake schedule in the final two games so it appears they will make the playoffs. After a good showing in a losing effort vs. the Maniacs they have fallen on tough times by losing to the Drunken Irish and getting pounded by the Centurions (not that they are the only ones). The Hounds team owner lee hall and GM’s need to get it figured out in these final two games. They have easy matchups but as we’ve seen there is nothing guaranteed when it comes to the Hounds.
Next game vs. Artic Demon Santas
9.Trondheim Berserkir (32-26 Win vs. Glasgow Cats)
7-7 (0-4 vs. Top 5)
I was very tempted to bump this team down a notch but didn’t want to favor my own team and look like a homer. But after VERY unimpressive wins vs. two of the worst teams in the league by a total of 12 points I think it’s where the Berserkir belong. I think this team is going to back into the playoffs by finishing with an 8-8 record and narrowly beating out the Drunken Irish who will lose their final two games. There trouble started in the Brew Crew game when they got beat down 91-0 and haven’t fully recovered just yet. They had played the Pirates tough and put up a good fight against the loldots but the Crew seem to have put this team in a world of hurt. They are a very average team in all categories and don’t seem to really know who they are as a team just yet. The game vs. the Cavaliers this week should be easy but who knows the way they have been going lately.

10.EuroTrash Talkers (21-17 Win vs. Washington Warriors)
6-8 (0-5- vs. Top 5)
A shockingly close game vs. the Warriors last night has team owner BADAS$ searching far and wide for answers as to what ‘almost happened.’ You can never think of a game as a gimmie but there is no question that we weren’t to worried or prepared for this one. When reached for comment BADAS$ simply said “I apologize to my team and I will never again take a team lightly.” The story in the game really came down to turnovers. The Talkers fumbled 4 times losing 3 of them. Give the Warriors credit as they played tough and made it a hell of a game. While I would like to say the EuroTrash will win out and make the playoffs; realistically I think they will come up a game short. It looks like a 3 point loss to an alpha team in week 1(yuck) and a 1 point loss (missed XP) to the Copenhagen Hounds are going to come back and bite this team in it’s Trash Talking Ass.

My apologies to the rest of the teams as I said I would include everyone. I wanted to get these up ASAP and it’s already 4am and my kids will have me up by 9am. Yea, me!! LOL I will add to them and finish out the rest of the teams in the morning.
