will be entertaining final 3 weeks to see who gets in playoffs.

Nicely put together, meigzoh. I went through this in my head last night, guess I could have posted it. Here were my thoughts...

1. Stockholm Black Death (13-3)
I know little about these guys, as we played them earlier in the season before I started the scouting. I think they'll finish at least 13-3, and 14-2 if the Hat Tossers become complacent with their playoff position and take it easy on them.

2. Torpedo Cowthorpe (13-3)
The Cowthorpe will cruise through the Chieftains, have a good game with Tilburg that is entirely dependent on the Dream's defense showing up, and then win a close game at home against my Argonauts to bring some impressive momentum into the playoffs.

3. Kobenhavn (12-4)
They lose to the Popes but win their final 2 games, the Hellbringers by a narrow margin, the iue5 game by more of a blowout than people expect and finish 12-4.

4. Passion Fruits (12-4)
The Passion Fruits win their final 3 games easily. Even if the Chieftains boost, I'm not sure they make it a close game. Fruits and Kobenhavn might be switched at #3/#4, I can't remember off the top of my head who won their regular season contest.

5. Vatican City Fightin' Popes (11-5)
The Popes will excommunicate all opposition who stand in their way in the final 3 games, Kobenhavn by a narrow margin, iue5 and the Dragon's easily.

6. 6. Ingolstadt Hat Tossers (11-5)
My pick to give the Black Death a serious vaccination. The Hat Tossers will recover from their loss to the Argonauts and win 3 straight into the playoffs to secure the #6 seed where they will be a serious 1st-round threat to anyone who draws them. The real question will be "can they play on the road?". We'll find out.

7. iue5 acolytes (10-6)
The Acolytes hit the skids going into the playoffs as they run into some stiff competition and get routed in 2 of their last 3 games as they slip to #7 and make an early exit in the 1st round.

8. East Cairo Argonauts (9-7)
This is a no-brainer. The Argonauts have taken out some of the top competition in recent weeks winning 6 out of their last 7 games and holding the Hat Tossers offense to 2 field goals last week. They'll lose a close final game on the road at Torpedo Cowthorpe but win the tie-break with any other 9-7 teams at that point.

9. Natural Born Killers (9-7)
NBK has its destiny in their own hands. All they have to do is beat East Cairo and the Argonauts are out and NBK is in. Even if they lose to the Argonauts they can find redemption at the hands of a win over the Black Death. Because I am an optimist (for my team) I believe neither will happen and they'll lose the tie-break to ECA and stay at home for the playoffs.

10. Cambridge Chieftains (8-8)
In the spirit of Ingolstadt my hat is off to these guys who despite being underleveled managed to scrap together a bunch of wins at the beginning of the season to at least give themselves a late-season chance to make a run for the playoffs. Unfortunately for them even if they all boosted fully, they face the two teams I personally feel are tops in the conference in Torpedo and Passion, and wins over either are improbable at best. I look forward to seeing what Cambridge will bring to the table next season.

The argonauts have really impressed me lately, as well as the Hat Tossers. Those are 2 teams I am not looking to facing in the playoffs who are in the bottom half.

You guys (Stockholm Black Death) will most likely draw us in the 1st round if you can maintain your #1 rank like I think you will. I'm anxious for a rematch after our 3-point loss to you earlier in the season.

I have to say the Argonauts have a chance, But, they have to beat NBK this week to have any chance, NBK ended the Chieftains dreams last week i think. This week they could do the same.

If someone had said that Cambridge Chieftains would even be in with an outside chance of making the playoffs at the start of the season I would have laughed at them given the competition in this league. Pross79 has worked wonders as a first time GM and doing all the D.

As for who will make the playoffs.. the current top 8 is my best bet. Can not see anyone that is not already in a playoff spot being able to do enough to dislodge any of them.

there's so much parity in the top 10, especially now that the argonauts have caught fire. it would not be surprising to me to see the fruits jump from 5 to 2, iue5 to drop from 4th to 8th, or the argonauts jump from 10 to 5
