I think I saw 8-9 gutted teams in the leagues above us.

Nope. Only conference championship teams. From what's been understood, there's not going to be another league restructure this coming offseason.

Oh really? I thought they would continue to drop gutted teams.

I'm hearing it will be the same as last year. I've PM's support to get a definite answer.

so did they ever get back to you? is there definitely going to be another realignment?

Hi MF. The last time I spoke to bort about it, that was what he said he intended on doing. I would assume that any change to that will be posted to the announcements section of the home pages.

Will the promotion/demotion system work the same as last season with the all the CPU teams being dropped and the appropriate number of teams promoted?

What do other teams that might get promoted plan on doing? You going to go out and clean house and bring in a new squad of higher level players or just fill in a few pieces here and there?

If we get promoted, I'm going to try to hang onto as many guys as possible while still upgrading to a point where we'll be able to compete. I have a great group of guys (and 1 girl) and I'd hate to tear the team apart. I'll wait until I know for sure and then research some more and see what it's going to take.
