Another week with some really great games.
Lion:
Katanga Diamonds at Kilimanjaro Kamikaze
The Diamonds won a solid victory last week against their closest competitors from RSW. This means they now hold the #1 spot for themselves, and can take one step closer to the perfect season with a win here today. Next week features the last big test when they face the Brothers from BoB. They currently looks like Lion's best shot at a league champion. Kilimanjaro are now definitively out of the play-off race, and can assert attention to next season and the challenges awaiting there.
Katanga wins 76-10
Band of Brothers at Red Sea WaveGAME OF THE WEEK
Super match up here between 2 really good teams. Both are currently 12-1, and they are tied for 2nd, with RSW holding the spot on grounds of more pts scored. RSW suffered their 1st defeat this season last week, and didnt impress against Katanga at all. BoB has won 10 straight game following their week 3 defeat against Cape Verde, and they have been looking very solid in most games so far. They have the pleasure of facing Katanga next week, so a win here is their only chance to keep the chance of conquering the #1 spot alive. This could go either way, but as we saw last week, that doesnt mean it has to be a close game.
Pick 'Em
Cape Verde Headhunters at White Nile Piranha
Cape Verde holds on to the #4 spot with a win against the newly disbanded White Nile team, who are restructuring for a slow build setup.
CV by 145-0
Warriors of Anubis at Malagasy Bushmen
WoA has moved up to 6th in the conference with last weeks impressive beating of Freetown, but doesnt look to have a chance at top-4 this year. The 2 teams right above and below them in the table, PHP and Freetown, clash in what should be a good game this week, and that will profit WoA no matter what happens. If Freetown wins, it opens up WoA's hunt for 5th against, and if PHP wins it pretty much locks in WoA at #6 spot. Today looks like a certain win for WoA tho, who wont have to work hard to take this one home.
Warriors by 98-0
African Fire at Atlantic Blue Jays
This is actually a rather important game, as it could be decisive in the battle for #8 spot. If AF can win, they will be sure of at least 8th seed, and could even move up a few more places if the results in other games go their way. The Blue Jays can keep the play-off dreams alive with a win, but it looks like a tough task for a Jays team that cant have too much confidence left at this point.
AF wins 45-34
Rhein Main Magic Mushrooms at Burundi Hutu
Burundi will be rootin' for the Blue Jays to pull of a victory against AF, as they are tied with the Jays atm, and would also have the chance at snatching the 8th spot, provided they win against the Shrooms today ofc. Their remaining schedule still makes it a pretty much impossible scenario, but the Hutu will fight on as long as there is any chance at all. The Rhein Main team are still hallucinating, dont expect too much from them
The Hutu win 60-3
Mogadishu Sharks at Ethiopia Executioners
Cpu on Cpu action. If you like robot wars, dont miss out on this one
Elephant:
Zanzibar Leopards at Richmond Raiders
Richmond had their first loss of the season last week against the Boys 2 Men, and it looks like the Leopards are gonna take the heat for it. Should only be a question of how many pts Richmond can put up.
And thats a lot
Real Men of Genius at Sierra Leone Head Shrinkers
RMoG has to win the remaining 3 games, and hope that Cairo can beat Richmond in week 16 to take over the #1 spot. Today cant be classified as a game tho, more like a mild practice.
Another big win
Rwanda Assassins at Lake M'Zumba CannibalsBIG GAME
This should be a really good game, with #3 and #8 facing off. Might sound like Rwanda should be big time favorites, but the fact is that only 1 game separate #3-#8, thats how close Elephant is this year. Play-off teams are found, but final placements are up for grabs in the last 3 weeks. This is a crucial match for both teams, as top-4 seed possibility's depend on it. If Rwanda wins, they will be almost certain of holding on to one of the top-4 spots, and Lake M can open up everything if they win. A lot to play for, so intensity should be filling the air over The Lake today.
Rwanda wins 34-27
Cairo Crocodiles at EEORG BastardsGAME OF THE WEEK
Super game here, with the 2 pre-season favorites clashing in a huge and important game. EEORG has now won 5 consecutive games, nd look to be better than ever, while Cairo seem to have some trouble getting their play to flow like in the beginning of the season. Losses against Rwanda and Lake M in week 11 and 13 has made the rest of the pack catch up to Cairo and they can be overtaken by EEORG if they loose this one, and could drop several positions. EEORG are rather big favorites at the bookmakers as a result, but dont count out Cairo completely. They have the staff and squad to give EEORG a fight, lets hope they can find their old game again this week.
Pick 'Em
Zimbabwe Black Rhinos at Dakar Dragons
Dakar faces RMoG next week, so focus is probably on that game already. Zimbabwe couldn't beat Dakar's cheerleaders, so not much doubt about winner and looser here. Dakar can catch up to the Crocs in #4 spot with a win here.
Dakar wins 76-0
Trinidad Trojans at Cairo Cannibals
Cannibals get a bye week before they face their local rivals from the Crocs next week in what has been dubbed "The Battle of Cairo". Trojans get another spanking, and _Cairo keeps up with the rest of the pack before the final 2 rounds.
Cannibals win by a silly amount
Casablanca White Houses at Cape Town Shinobis
Neither teams can make the play-offs, and they will both have to do some serious upgrading to have any chance next year. The teams in the A leagues arent getting any worse, and the competition level shouldn't drop much the next few seasons.
Whatever tbh
Serengeti Wildebeest at Swaziland Semnikati
Swaziland is definitively out of the play-offs aswell, but this should be a sure win. Look out for the Semnikati next year tho. Serengeti hasn't shown signs of improvement at all, and next year could be the same old story unless something drastically happens.
Swaziland wins 56-0

My Defensive strategy was to take Runnen Straightahead out of your game plan, which we seemed to do pretty effectively. He is the engine to your offense for sure. Good luck the rest of the season, perhaps we'll meet again in the playoffs.
