Just for a change of pace here. I've got a top 3:

3. NY Mets v St. Louis Cardinals, game 7 of the 2006 NLCS, where my avatar happened. That one loses though, because... the Mets did too

2. Todd Pratt's series clinching walkoff homerun against the Diamondbacks in the 1999 NLDS

1. UAlbany almost beat UConn in the 16v1 game in the 2006 NCAA tourney. I was one of the 500ish Albany students that got tickets, and even though UConn turned our 12 point lead into a 13 point win in the last 10 minutes, that game was just awesome. I could barely talk for a week. If you've never been to a tourney game and can find a way to get to one, even if you don't care about the teams, do it.

Buffalo Bills 1992 comeback playoff game against the Houston Oilers. Bills were down 35-3 and came back to win the game. I was 14 and my Dad took me to the game. That was absolutley amazing.

Nice... I'm not a big fan of football live, it's so much better on TV. I'm probably biased because the only pro game I went to I had terrible seats. The best action I saw was Bills fans vs Jets fans (3 fights that required security intervention, at least a dozen others )

The game itself, I could barely even tell who had the ball

Good thread, will amend as I think of more.

1. went to the Dallas Redskin game @ Fedex in 2006, Dallas lined up for a winning FG with seconds left in the game and the Skins blocked and took it to the house, pretty sure it was Sean Taylor that blocked the kick.

We had season tickets from 89-94 till we moved. I was at allot of great Bills games during the super bowl years. Likewise we had Sabres tickets. Saw some great games.

Was at the years opening home game for the 20th year in the league.

So with season tickets, you got to see all the playoff games they won, but then you missed out on their finest performances??

/Sigh. I'm used to it. I mean I don't ever get tired of hearing wide right. Besides I have this season to take my pain away.

The first that comes to mind is the most recent...

Thanksgiving game about 10 days ago in Austin... Texas beat aggy 49-9.
After losing to them the past 2 years (ugh! ugh!) it was awesome to be there in person for the victory.

Another that sticks out, though I am not a huge fan of either team, is a Bears / Lions game I saw at Soldier Field about 10 years ago.
The game was great, the fans were so into it.
And it started snowing in the third quarter I think... being a Texas girl I was totally unprepared and thought I was going to freeze to death.
But it's an experience I'll never forget.

That was a great game, I remember watching that on tv as well.

I was at some redsox games when they were shitty, had mo vaugn, pedro etc.

Got on tv a few times and MO hit a homerun to our banner, that was about it.

Oh yeah, got kicked out 2 nights in a row
