POWER RANKINGS

1.Cairo Mummy Warriors(12-0) - QB Joe Montana 16 is leading the league in passing yards, TDs, and TD to Int Ratio, all while the defense has pitched 5 strait shutouts not to mention their defense has only given up 49 total points all season long and leads the league with 33 picks.

2.Nigerian Nightmares(12-0) - With a huge win over Casablanca they have a firm grasp on the second seed and if they can get past Lethoso and Carthage without stumbling there's a real good chance we'll have a couple of 14-0 teams facing off for home field advantage in the playoffs.

3.Casablanca Golden Eagles(10-2) - Their only two losses have come to the top two teams in the conference right now and both were very close they can play with anybody in this league. They still have to play Maine and that should be a really good game.

4.Maine Freeze(10-2) - They pretty much locked up a home playoff game with their win against Madagascar and only one real threat left to play. They just need to clean up the turnovers in the big games but other than that they have been impressive.

5.Carthage Mercenaries(8-4) - They've won five in a row and the remaining schedule doesn't look very tough with their biggest remaining game against the Grand JagerMenze.

6.Madagascar Grand JagerMenze(8-4) - They've lost two in a row now but are still in good shape for a playoff spot. With Cairo and Carthage left they'll probably finish 10-6 for their best season in franchise history.

7.Ethiopian Food Mongers(8-4) - A big win against Lethoso really helps them because they still have three really tough opponents left and they'll need to win at least 1 of their final four to make it.

8.Lethoso Rollers(7-5) - They really needed to beat the Food Mongers tonight but came up short now they have to play a brutal end of season schedule against competition against teams with a 36-12 combined record and they'll probably need to win two of those games to make it they are really in a tight spot now.

9.Freetown Jayhawks(5-7) - With two wins in a row they are giving themselves a chance at the post season but the 3-7 hole they dug themselves may be just a little too much to make up.

10.P-Town Ballaz(6-6) - with their final four opponents and their 6-6 record they'll need to win 3 out of 4 remaining but I just don't see it happening.

11.Cardiff Cobras(5-7) - They still have to play Madagascar, Maine and Casablanca meaning that they may very well be dont.

12.Ivory Coast Breakers(3-9) - They were eliminated from playoff contention last week with their loss to the Jayhawks but have gone on a nice little run and won 2 out of the last 3.

13.Rhodesian Ridgebacks(3-9) - They had hope for the playoffs before dropping 6 in a row now and with the loss to Carthage they are officially eliminated from playoff contention.

14.Uganda Monsoon(1-11) - They need to fix their pass defense and in a hurry they just got shredded for over 1000 yards in one game league's leading passer or not.

15.Nigeria Warriors(0-12) - Not much going for them they will benefit from demotion if they get it.

16.Mauritius Mountain Lions(0-12) - Another week another loss and still no victory, It's been a really bad year for just about any team with Lions as it's name.

PREDICTIONS

Uganda Monsoon(1-11) vs. Ivory Coast Breakers(3-9)
Ivory Coast has won 2 out of the last three and look to make it 3 out of 4 against the one win Monsoon. The Monsoon still gets to play Nigeria and that should be their best remaining shot at notching another win.
Ivory Coast Breakers by 28

Ethiopian Food Mongers(8-4) vs. Carthage Mercenaries(8-4)
This shouldn't be too bad of a game the Carthage offense has been carrying them all season and that should continue in this one as their defense continues to struggle against the pass although they haven't been giving up a ton of points lately. Playoff position will be on the line in this one.
Carthage Mercenaries by 13

Nigerian Nightmares(12-0) vs. Lethoso Rollers(7-5)
It's time for Lethoso to start worrying they need this one pretty badly to hold onto a playoff spot but I just don't see it happening against the undefeated Nigerian Nightmares and with the Jayhawks playing the winless Mountain Lions their lead will probably be down to one game and the Jayhawks have head to head on them.
Nigerian Nightmares by 24

Casablanca Golden Eagles(10-2) vs. Nigeria Warriors(0-12)
There is a reason they play the game I just have a hard time finding one in this matchup but the Eagles deserve their stat padding week just like everyone else.

Madagascar Grand JagerMenze(8-4) vs. Cardiff Cobras(5-7)
It looks like it should be a decent matchup and probably a high scoring one as neither defense has been all that good this season so if you like offense this will be a game that you'll want to watch, I think Cardiff's defense is a little worse though so I'm going with the Grand JagerMenze to prevail.
Madagascar Grand JagerMenze by 10

P-Town Ballaz(6-6) vs. Maine Freeze(10-2)
P-Town should put up a fight considering that a loss will probably eliminate them from playoff contention but Maine will be too much for P-Town on both sides of the ball.
Maine Freeze by 28

Mauritius Mountain Lions(0-12) vs. Freetown Jayhawks(5-7)
Mauritius is still looking for that first win but don't count on it happening against the Jayhawks they need this one badly to stay in the playoff hunt and make up ground on Lethoso who I think will end up just missing the playoffs this year it should be a good fight for the final spot or two in the last couple weeks of the season.

I would have to disagree and say our biggest remaining game is against the Nightmares.

I know you only put the Jayhawks at 9 because you "have to." We will win out for the playoffs...

I figured the JagerMenze because you are currently tied with them for the 5th, 6th spots and are very unlikely to catch the Nightmares

Looking at the schedule we wont be able to move any higher than 5th. Hopefully we get a rematch w/Maine Freeze.
