As an outsider, I'm sorry to interrupt your forum, but I'm looking at getting into the ownership gig and would like to try and get a team in WE (particularly, in WEA5 or WEA6) if at all possible. (Yeah, I could get on the waiting list for a new team, but I'd rather jump in with the significant disadvantage of competing against a well-established league).

If you are looking to gut your team, sell it back to the CPU, etc., please let me know. I'm of the impression Bort and Support want to avoid gutted teams and redistributing teams around, so if you are going to sell it back anyway, maybe I can work it out with Support to take it off your hands.

Again, sorry for the interruption...now back to your regularly scheduled whatever. EDIT: Also sorry for the nonsensical grammar in the thread title.

The only way they would allow this is for you to be a GM of the team you would be buying (and they will check to see how long you've been a GM). Other than that...good luck!

I figured it was worth a shot. So, I guess I just need to be made a GM first and then hope that DD is desperate enough to avoid gutted teams that a week or two as a GM is long enough to warrant selling the team to me.

If you sell it like that and have the coach's grace, then I think it should work. Gutted teams suck!

The team I took over for in mid-season I was the GM for a day before and they let me take over a team. But I also had a player on the team to start the season I took over around day 8 or 9 I believe. But it is possible to take over a team and not be the GM long.
