In what will be a very close and interesting game, Anchorage (promoted from A-6) will put up it's 37 game regular season winning streak against Davao (promoted from A-5) and it's 19 game regular season win streak.

What's more impressive is that both teams hold a 39-4 regular season record. Which team will be the first to 40 wins. More importantly, which team will be undefeated when it's time to play Singapore.

Some other subplots:

Can Anchorage's stingy D stop the high flying O of Davao?
Can Davao's Run D contain the 3-headed monster coming out of the backfield from Anchorage?
Will B Real be able to continue his magic to his WR's or will the Black Ghost continue to show why he is among the league leaders in yds and TD's in AA # 3.

Stay tuned!!

I'm actually excited about this game. Going to be either a "high scoring romp of rushing and raining" or a "stingy defenses with low scoring decided by a field goal in the last minute of overtime" type of game. See you on the battle field gentlemen!

I am actually looking forward to this game quite a bit. I figure you guys will be emptying the cupboard for the most part so maybe I can pick up a thing or two for our impending meetings.

This is almost embarrassing to admit, but we are 54-5 in the regular season but still stuck where we started. I think we were one of the last teams that started off as AA.

It will be fun watching this 3 team round robin tourney here over the next week or so.

Best of luck to both of you, and don't hold anything back!!!

LOL While I don't frequent the forums enough to know who talks a lot of trash I do know that no one from Anchorage has talked trash to anyone. We simply enjoy a good rivalry with an evenly matched team. Just ask the Shanghai Bucs...we've had some great games against each other. From what I have seen from Davao they don't seem to be overly cocky either. I think we all recognize the quality of the team we are facing and know that these next few games can be won by either team.

Good Game Anchorage. I didn't know how that would come out... you guys have a tough team and I am sure you will be back in the playoffs, just hope you don't have the reverse Shanghai Bucc effect on us.

Nice game Anchorage - I stayed up way too late GP'ing for this one. When you took the fumble back 95yds right before the half I gave a big WTF!!!

Glad to see we kept it together and were able to pull out a hard fought victory.

Good luck against Singapore and most likely we will see you again come playoff time.

Good game Davao. You're defense is insanely good. When our QB did have time your DBs weren't letting the ball get to the WRs. You guys have a very tough team. Best of luck in your upcoming game with Singapore as well and we will be looking forward to meeting again in the playoffs.

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!! Hows that for a defensive battle gentlemen. Let's see some points to the game. It was a pure defensive battle! Both defenses kept the other's offense to the lowest score of the season it seems. the sacks from Davao, we haven't faced the turf that many times in a looooong time. The 95 yard return I about fell out of my chair when the NT returned it. A few forced fumbles led to TDs the very next play. Man I love a good defensive struggle. Good game Davao, see you in the playoffs. OH and trash, trash, moldy banana peel, trash, throw-away, trash, trash, the dump, trash and trash some more

Great game Davao. You made the level-difference between our OL and your DL really show. And I think thats a first. Congratulations on a top-notch performance.

Feel free to PM me the builds of those 2 DEs - I've a junior DE on the way and would love some confidential advice

Yeah you had both JStu (O Coord) and myself (D Coord) up past midnight trying to game plan and tweak things.

We are very lucky to have those 2 DE's on our team. Both stand out and get to the QB often. Heff -- I won't pm you the build but you can hit up Polorl69 or NickJYD and maybe they will.... but i doubt it . I agree that 95 yd return could have been the difference in the game. Luckily the momentum didnt swing and we were able to come back in the 2nd half. Yes we will see you guys in the playoffs and if we play you i am sure the game will be great like todays.
