This will be a lot shorter than last weeks'
x-1. Calgary Hitmen (10-1)(+2)- The obvious choice for #1 this week. In their last game the absolutely crushed last week's #2 Hell Reapers by 42.
x-T2. Kukamonga Monsters and Lake Erie Levaithans (10-1)- This week these two poewrhouses will be tied. The reason is because the monsters only loss as to the bears a team erie beat, but erie's loss was to the hitmen, who the monsters beat.
4. Halifax Hell Reapers (8-3)(-2)- The Hitmen move down two spots after a humiliating loss to the Hitmen 62-20. Experts prediced the game to be close, but the outcome was rather shocking.
5.Goose Bay Grizzlies (7-4)(0)- Some of you may disagree with this but here is why: They have won 5 in a row and in there last 3 their closest game is 19 points. They beat Bismarck and Montreal who have similar reords. Also, Montreal has already played the three worst teams, while Goose Bay has only played 2. They just edged out the Diamond Cutters because they lost to Bismarck, a team Goose Bay beat.
6. Yellowknife Diamond Cutters (7-4)(+1)- Yellowknife is in the 6th spot because their schedule has been harder than Bismarck and Montreal
7. Bimsarck Bears (8-3)(-1)- Bismarck is this low because they lost head-head to Goose Bay. Even though they beat Kukamonga and Yellowknife (impressive), they got smoked by Erie.
8. Montreal Rush (8-3)(0)- Some of you may think i forgot about the Rush. They are 4th in the standings and 4th in wins. However, they are the only over .500 tam to not have beat a team with a winning record. Yes thats true. They have beaten the: Hackers(4-7), Bridgekeepers(4-7), Warmageddons(4-7),Pocket Rockets(0-11), Dream(4-7),Blue(5-6),Pokers(2-9), Swords of Chaos(0-11). That is awful that means the bet team they have beaten is the .456 Blue and affer that the best team they have beat is .363(4-7). Agianst over .500 teams they are 0-3.
9.Labatt Blue (5-6)(0)- This is a good team, unfortunately, they have had a tough first half schedule. They play 2 cupckaes to end the year, but they trail the last playoff spot by 2 games. The game in week 13 vs. the grizzlies will decide their fate.
10. Bosphorous Bridgekeepers (4-7)(+2)- They move up because they have competed with some of the better teams, only an 8 point loss to Yellowknife. However, they just don't have enough talent to make it in.
11. Saskatoon Dream (4-7)(-1)- Despite being throttled by the 7-4 Grizzlies, this team has played decent, however you will not be seing them play in week 17.
12. Manitoba Warmageddons (4-7)(-1)- Probabaly the biggest dissappointment of the season. Coming in i thought they had a shot at the playoffs, but with a bad defense they have underachieved and will most likely miss the postseason for the 2nd year in a row.
z-13. Toronto Oustanding Pokers (2-9)(0)- No surprise here. The are a bad team, that can beat the worst teams. Maybe next year.
z-14. New England Powertecs (1-10)(0)- Another bad team that is just a hair better than the worst. They are done for this year.
z-T16. Regina Pocket Rockets and Beefcakes Swords of Chaos- These are just atrocious teams. Regina doesnt contend ever and Beefcake holds one of the longest losing streaks in all of glb. Friday's game, the 5th, will be an epic showdown. Who will go winless? If Beefcake loses they will be assured a 2nd straight season without a win, that is brutal for a team. This game will be live on ESPN primetime and the nation is execting record attendance and viewers at home. Who wold miss this epic dogfight?
