That seems to sum it up rather well -- Alpha is very solid at the top, and the ability to beat up on some gutted teams helps with the overall numbers.

Zeta is a meat grinder, making it harder to standout in any given area...but impressive when you do.

Not surprised to see Alpha holding the top 4 spots, and Zeta holding the next 9.

Its cool when you compare this to the coaches poll. My favorite is still the coaches poll, I just wish we had more than half the owners participating in it. Numbers are great, they just dont tell the whole story, like Scace stated.

It will be interesting to see how these parallel with the coaches poll each week.

I like the coaches poll better as well

I agree with steelerblitz it’s nice to have both to see how they pan out. I am one that puts more stock in the guys who call the plays than the number crunchers. I do think you should stick with posting it just for comparison reasons. Scace has a point, formulas can be construed by the validity of the data imputed, (garbage in garbage out). We all can see the bottom side of Alpha makes the top half look good. Everyone it in their right mind knows The Thorny Devils will win the Sun Belt, Oops I mean Zeta, and are the odds on favorite to win O-Pro.

I can’t believe, no hate mail for the Sun Belt Joke? My first attempt to start trouble since being socially promoted into the pros against my will and I can not get a peep from the Zeta enthusiasts. It’s no fun being an ass if nobody gets pissed. You guys would not have stood for that crap back in the good old days.

What is there to get upset about :shrugs:

The numbers prove the rankings, cant argue. Coaches poll tells the human side of things. I think both polls are great and have their place, as both add to the entertainment of this game. In the end, you need to win your last 4 games of the season.

I personally think any poll that doesnt have MTD #1 is crap though

We'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

So will we.

We will be EXTREMELY lucky to make the playoffs... or get on a hot run, one or the other.

So will Samoa.

We already looking for tickets to watch the first round are we may just catch the games form Buffalo Wildwings.
