1 Philadelphia Ground and Pound 9-0-0 W9 This team is the class of the Western conference maybe even the entire League…. They have beaten everyone with authority and from what I see have not boosted so will be able to challenge the late boosters. There are weakness but they have yet to be exploited.

2 The Evil Empire 6-3-0 W4 6 Big win over Liverpool. Shows what they are capable of. They have 3 losses but are hot with a 4 game winning streak. Sometimes it is not about who you play but when you play them. They are not a team I want to lineup against at this time of the year.

3 Liverpool Legend Killers 8-1-0 L1 Only lost is to the evil empire. Beat the Stallions and is very secure at number #3. They face a second straight tough game. If they fall to Philly they will drop down the ranking but not far. They are a playoff team with a strong shot at a home field game.

4 Italian Stallions 7-2-0 W3 Next up is the Stallions who are strong and winning games but not in impressive fashion. Battled it out last week and although they doubled up on Prague it was not pretty. Should make the playoffs with a shot to be in the top 4.

5 Salzburg Hornets 6-3-0 W4 This is a good team but sort of floating around in the middle. They are better than their record because they drew the best team in the alpha conference in week one. They have lost to Philly and Liverpool but beat Evil…. If they keep winning they will move up. Big test will be against the Stallions later in the year.

6 Prague Defenestrators 5-4-0 L2 This team impressed me last week. They gave the Stallions everything that they could handle. The score does not show just how tough that game was…. Do not know if they have boosted but if they were smart and saved them up could be a dark horse I see them as a playoff team.

7 Amsterdam Chronic Crusaders 5-4-0 These guys are currently in 8th but have a easier schedule down the stretch. They will battle for the last two playoff spots. They are a solid team but I have not seen enough to believe they will make a lot of noise in the playoffs but making the playoffs in this conference is impressive IMHO.

8 Manchester Divided 5-4-0 W4 They are on a roll but the schedule gets tough for them. There are no cream puffs left on the schedule. They can still make the playoffs but this is a team who is not as good as their record. They can make it but it is time to step up.

9 London Rippers 5-4-0 W2 This is another one of those ??? teams. They have enough to complete but they have some tough games ahead of them. If they can steal a win and beat the teams they are supposed to beat they have a shot to make the playoffs. They are in that middle mix and could move up or down 3 spots in the next few weeks.

10 Starcraft DarK Archons 4-5-0 W1 These guys just to do have enough at this point to beat the better teams. They have a tough end of year and it will be hard for them to make the playoffs but have played a lot of solid games this year. These guys are much better then the next 6 teams.

11 Borum Hill Treble 3-6-0 L1 Best of the rest but simply not enough to beat the contenders….

12 Lisbon Crusaders 2-7-0 L2 I thought these guys would be better this year. Look better on paper than their record.

The rest simply have work to do. If only GLB had a draft. . I truly believe that these teams would be making the playoffs in a lot of other conferences. This BBB league is one of the better ones in GLB. Most of the owners and GMs are not newbies. They have run teams before and are implementing the knowledge that they have gained from other teams. Keep working it will get better.

13 October Wildfire 2-7-0 L3 Simply not enough talent yet….

14 Reykjavík Polar Bears 1-8-0 L7

15 Matterhorn Marmots 1-8-0 L4

16 Phi Kappa Leesburg 0-9-0 L9

Yeaaahhh.. Tough loss. We knew these would be two tough games so we decided to boost x3 for them. Looks like it hasn't paid off yet.

Considering we started with level 9's I am very happy with a 12th place ranking. We have put a little work in and come close to catching a couple of teams napping, and we have won the two games I expected to win. We could easily be ranked 13th or 14th, so thanks for the boost of confidence.

Like I said I have seen some positive things in your games.... You have played teams competitively and caught my eye. Its always good to see another Skins fan in the conference.

I figured that was what bought me the 12th spot.

Oh yeah thanks for stepping up and doing this ranking. Was getting tired of reading Alpha's every week

No way you keeping your team in games and playing competitively on the field did it for me.

I think the Borum Hill Treble is highly underrated, we could have almost won any of our games this year...and I predict a massive turnaround the rest of the season

11/22/2008 at Salzburg Hornets L 17-38
11/24/2008 Italian Stallions(42) (0) L 9-39
11/26/2008 at Reykjavík Polar Bears W 48-3
11/28/2008 Amsterdam Chronic Crusaders(42) (0) L 23-27

Not to get down on you but look at your last 4 games... You were in two of them one which you won the other to you lost big. Did I miss something. I will be honest I thought you would give us a better game then you did. I think it will be hard for you dig out of the hole you find yourselves in but hey I would love to see you knock off a few of the guys at the top.

We will definitely be moving up. On a streak and really don't see us losing more than two....if that.....down the stretch. But that is okay...I don't mind being cast as the underdog

I'm pretty pleased with how we've done in such a strong conference. In four games (#7. Amsterdam, #9. London, #10. Starcraft, and #11. Borum Hill), one additional touchdown and we'd be 5-3-1. We've won the games we should have and played some that we shouldn't have very close.

I appreciate the positive attitude of just about everybody in Zeta. It continues to be a lot of fun! Good luck to all!
