Ok, so I'm going to try to get back at these with some consistency from here on out. Sorry guys! To make up for it, I have brought in a special guest to give his prediction the best game in the East this week. So here we go!
Tri v. KS: Kansas is coming off a tough loss to El Paso, and they really need to win this game if they hope to make the playoffs. Tri is having a pretty good season, so it's definitely going to make it tough. I'm going with Tri on this one, 28-10
Indy v. Brawlers: The Brawlers are nearly out of playoff contention. They have been quite a disappointment to say the least. Indy has been pretty decent so far, and are hoping that they can clinch a playoff spot soon. Indy wins this one in a shootout, 42-38
Cleveland v. TN: Cleveland was finally knocked off their high horse in a game against a struggling Warbirds team. TN is hanging on by a thread to a playoff spot, and an upset would definitely help out their playoff situation. Unfortunately, I think Cleveland comes out big, and quick. Gladiators 48-17
El Paso v. NY: NY has been yet again a major disappointment, and has shown that they are not one of the elite. With their upcoming schedule, they'll be lucky if they finish with an 8-8 record. In the East, that may be good enough for a playoff spot though. El Paso has an extremely tough schedule coming up, so this is a must win if they want a playoff spot. El Paso wins this close 13-10
Brew v. Shelby: Tack on a W for Brew. Shelby is cpu owned, and will get dismantled. 153-3
Stoners v. Warbirds: Stoners have seemingly awaken from their weed-induced coma to come on strong with a current 7-2 record. After some losses to very mediocre teams, the Warbirds have begun a win streak, sitting currently at 3. I'm going to say the Stoners win this in a close one, but let's see my old friend Lee Corso has to say.
"Not so fast my friend! Ok sweetheart, the Warbirds have clearly woken up, as they knocked off an undefeated Cleveland team last week, as well as a good TriCity team. Don't count them out yet. <Puts on Warbird helmet> I'm going with the Warbirds in an upset!"
Ok, LOL, thanks Lee. Back to the asylum!I predict the Stoners win 34-20!
Rebels v. Hustlers: I was criticized for talking about how weak the Hustlers are. Well, guess what. They are 2-7, and only two teams are worse than they are, the Rebels, and a cpu-owned Shelby. I'd say that's pretty pathetic. Hustlers should have it easy here. I'll go with a 45-17 win today.
DC v. Stallions: DC is the only undefeated team, and nothing will change with today's game! The Stallions are another team who should not have been promoted. Lucky for them, they play in the East, although they have a brutal schedule coming up. Mark my words. Stallions lose AT LEAST 5 more! DC triumphs 72-10
GL to you all in your games today. Let's all thank Lee Corso for stopping by and sharing his thoughts on the top matchup in the East.
