Ok, so I'm going to try to get back at these with some consistency from here on out. Sorry guys! To make up for it, I have brought in a special guest to give his prediction the best game in the East this week. So here we go!

Tri v. KS: Kansas is coming off a tough loss to El Paso, and they really need to win this game if they hope to make the playoffs. Tri is having a pretty good season, so it's definitely going to make it tough. I'm going with Tri on this one, 28-10

Indy v. Brawlers: The Brawlers are nearly out of playoff contention. They have been quite a disappointment to say the least. Indy has been pretty decent so far, and are hoping that they can clinch a playoff spot soon. Indy wins this one in a shootout, 42-38

Cleveland v. TN: Cleveland was finally knocked off their high horse in a game against a struggling Warbirds team. TN is hanging on by a thread to a playoff spot, and an upset would definitely help out their playoff situation. Unfortunately, I think Cleveland comes out big, and quick. Gladiators 48-17

El Paso v. NY: NY has been yet again a major disappointment, and has shown that they are not one of the elite. With their upcoming schedule, they'll be lucky if they finish with an 8-8 record. In the East, that may be good enough for a playoff spot though. El Paso has an extremely tough schedule coming up, so this is a must win if they want a playoff spot. El Paso wins this close 13-10

Brew v. Shelby: Tack on a W for Brew. Shelby is cpu owned, and will get dismantled. 153-3

Stoners v. Warbirds: Stoners have seemingly awaken from their weed-induced coma to come on strong with a current 7-2 record. After some losses to very mediocre teams, the Warbirds have begun a win streak, sitting currently at 3. I'm going to say the Stoners win this in a close one, but let's see my old friend Lee Corso has to say.

"Not so fast my friend! Ok sweetheart, the Warbirds have clearly woken up, as they knocked off an undefeated Cleveland team last week, as well as a good TriCity team. Don't count them out yet. <Puts on Warbird helmet> I'm going with the Warbirds in an upset!"

Ok, LOL, thanks Lee. Back to the asylum!I predict the Stoners win 34-20!

Rebels v. Hustlers: I was criticized for talking about how weak the Hustlers are. Well, guess what. They are 2-7, and only two teams are worse than they are, the Rebels, and a cpu-owned Shelby. I'd say that's pretty pathetic. Hustlers should have it easy here. I'll go with a 45-17 win today.

DC v. Stallions: DC is the only undefeated team, and nothing will change with today's game! The Stallions are another team who should not have been promoted. Lucky for them, they play in the East, although they have a brutal schedule coming up. Mark my words. Stallions lose AT LEAST 5 more! DC triumphs 72-10

GL to you all in your games today. Let's all thank Lee Corso for stopping by and sharing his thoughts on the top matchup in the East.

You should take a look to see why you're fumbling. Low carrying, confidence, etc.?

Yeah, no shit. Our defense is freaking abysmal since mid season. It's really a shame when Stafford has his best game ever, Massaquoi has his best game ever, Moreno has like 200 yards combined, we put up 42 points and lose. Just ridiculous. I've been asking all my UGA alum buddies today if it's time for us to start calling for the DC's head yet. That's like 4 out of the last 5 games that shitty D has allowed 35 points or more, I don't know what's going on but it's sad.

Tech always plays us real tight, they have a great team this year and after kicking their ass the last 7 years I'm sure they were due one. I'd rather em get their one out of every 7 or 8 this season anyway when it's already been established that we aren't vying for the conference or national championship. I do have to LOL at Georgia Tech a little though, they will have the best record in the ACC, be the highest ranked ACC team in the polls and still not go play for their conference championship.

Oh well, at least I've got the Stoners and their D pretty much played lights out today. That and don't forget your beloved Huskers are one loss more mediocre than my Dawgs this year.

1 more loss in a more a difficult conference, with a brand new head coach playing with somebody else's players. Hmmm. Think you won that argument. I just love it how coming into this season, NO UGA fan was talking about how they needed a new DC. Most GA fans were saying this was their year. Now, you lost 3 games, and all of a sudden, it's the DC's fault. I've never heard so many excuses.

More difficult conference...that's funny. We'll rehash that after we see what happens in the NC game. Besides, I don't give a rat's ass what conference you play in or who your new coach is...your record is 8-4 and our record is 9-3, your team has one more loss and therefore is one game more mediocre than mine. If you really want to argue it 2 of our losses were to the #1 and #2 team in a few of the polls and both in the top 5 in all polls. Our other loss was to a team in the top 20 that most say is the best team in the ACC and will probably end up close to the top 10 after beating us. Your losses were to 1 team in the top 5, another one that is ranked 5-10 and will probably drop because they almost lost to Baylor today, Baylor for crying out loud, another one that will probably drop out of the top 20 after choking against Kansas today and another team that's not in the top 25 of any poll. All that makes you much more mediocre.

I knew it wasn't going to be our year when our 2 best O-linemen and our best D-lineman got hurt early in the season and were all out for the season. I didn't think we had any business being ranked pre-season #1 anyway with such a young and inexperienced O-line and regardless of the preseason ranking I never thought this would be our year. You have to have every piece of the puzzle in place for it to be your year and I knew we were missing a massively important piece of that puzzle with the O-line.

Martinez had us finish in the top 20 in defense every year he's been at the position since Van Gorder left, of course no one was calling for his head before the season. We were returning a lot of starters on D so I wasn't too worried there until we lost our key D-lineman.

I'm not making excuses, I'm stating the facts. We didn't play up to our full potential as a team all year except maybe in the first 2 patsy games. The direct cause of our loss to Bama and GT was the defense playing like shit and horrid amounts of penalties at the most crucial times. The offense played like total shit against Florida so I'll let them share the blame with the D and penalties for that one but the offense wasn't at all responsible for the Bama and GT losses, those are almost entirely on the defense with the exception of a few holding calls on the offense. If you think any different you obviously weren't watching those games. It's just like GLB man, do you make excuses when your team loses or do you try to figure out why they lost and fix it. I'm just trying to look at it objectively, figure out what happened and what went wrong in the losses and formulate my opinion as how to fix for the future. No matter what angle I look at it, the fact is (not excuse, fact) our defense let us down big time in those 3 losses and really they didn't play all that well in most of our wins. To go from being in the top 20 in defense pretty consistently the past 4 or 5 years to playing how we played this year with that many returning players and only one major season ending injury, I'm sorry but that just screams coaching to me and that's why I look to our DC and say "WTF?".

Man, I guess with all the smack talk and razzing between you and the Stoner crew for some reason I had gotten the idea that behind all that you were a pretty smart guy and knowledgeable about football. I'll know better next time.
