It's starting to get exciting. With 9 teams all in the playoff mix someone with a winning record at this point is going to end up missing the postseason.
Stockholm Black Death (7-1) at Nikopolis Stoic Hedonists (1-7) 69-14
The team with the best record in the league the Stockholm Black Death came into the Schmuckkästchen with one thing one their mind and were able to dominate the team with the worst record, the hometown Hedonists, in every phase of the game. The Stockholm offense was as usual very productive with RB Anasaki Nelson compiling 16 rushes for 105yds; 3 reception for 36yds and 3 TDs on the day. The Black Death defense was equally impressive holding the Stoic Hedonists to just 34 yards on the ground. In all honesty the game was over when Stockholm QB Big Throwing Dog hit a pass to all pro TE Smurf avenger for 38 yards less than two minutes into the contest.

Torpedo Cowthorpe (6-2) at Amsterdam Dragon's (2-6) 68-0
The first game under new management and a new name for the Amsterdam Dragon's (formerly the Brugge Touch) ended much like their last three games as the Torpedo Cowthorpe destroyed the home team in shutout fashion. Torpedo rolled all day as both QB Michael Dauber II and RB Micro Lab3 notched 3 TDs each in what was the most uneven affair this week. The Amsterdam offense was held under 100 yards, a first in Western Europe BBB #1 Alpha and ended up with negative 4.5 yards on the day with the biggest tackle tally coming for LB Hollie Sartor who also had three big tackles for a loss.

Cambridge Chieftains (5-3) at København Hühnerfalken (6-2) 10-40
The Killing Field was littered with the bodies of fallen Chieftains as the league's best passing attack took over and the Hühnerfalken fly on to victory. The game began with both teams trading field goals but early in the second quarter København's Stampede Jones busted off a 24 yard gain for a lead which the Hühnerfalken would never again relinquish. Jones put up 194 yards on the ground with 2 TDs in a game that saw the aerial attack take a backseat to the København run game.

Passion Fruits (5-3) at iue5 acolytes (6-2) 17-35
The surprisingly capitalized Acolytes' Arena was the scene of the mugging the iue5 acolytes put on the Passion Fruits today. The acolytes took advantage of the Fruits mistakes scoring 14 points off of turnovers in a game which was punctuated by the great play of iue5 HB Mega Man(insert string of n) who was able to turn his 24 touches into 180yds and 2 TDs. Also of note was the fact that the acolytes held Fruits HB Jerome "Big Bus" McNasty to his lowest yardage total of the season with "just" 120.5 on the ground.

Tilburg Dream (3-5) at Vatican City Fighting Popes (5-3) 21-24
The Popes held down the Dream in a game that was far more lopsided than the score suggests as Vatican City rolled over their opponents with over 400 yards from scrimmage. The Dream were held in check on the stat sheet with less than half of Vatican City's production while the Fighting Popes were very solid completing 66% of their passes and setting the game up for their fierce RB Da Speed who amassed 178.5yds on the ground along with 2 catches for 9.5 yards and 3 TDs. Da Speed's TD to the left with 6:40 to play in the 4th quarter put the nail in the Tilburg coffin although the Dream did manage a late score of their own on their way to the 24-21 loss.

Natural Born Killers (5-3) at Warfield Hellbringers (3-5) 52-0
Hell Field was quieted early as NBK dismantled the Hellbringers in their own building in what can only be described as a rout. Newly boosted Killers QB Hank Evans was poised in the pocket completing 12 of 24 passes for 150yds with 3 TDs and no interceptions and the NBK defense was stifling holding Warfield to just 92.5 total yards compared to the 500+ that NBK was able to rack up. Stud CB Michael Phelps ran to daylight on a 53 yard interception return that put Warfield into a hole they couldn't climb out of.

Unfortunately for the fans at River Bank Stadium the home team was unable to complete the comeback as East Cairo was able to hold them scoreless in the 4th quarter as the Argonauts improve to 3-5.
