Ok... so this is like the BCS right? How does a 6-0 team not lose yet lose two spots to a 4-2 team? The Shamrocks are becoming a force to be reckoned with.

Ok so Tallahassee lost to the Middlesbrough Mayhem by 6. That warrants climbing two spots? So following that logic if my team plays the #1 team and loses by 12 or more than my team is #1 right? Are you serious? LOL

do you not get it?....that is exactly how this system works...all the teams you have beat have probably got losing records.

In fact I just looked and the best you have played is a 0.500 team you havnt played or beat a team with a winning record how can you be rated higher than the noles when they have beat at least one team with a winning record and then held their own against one of the top teams.

thats how this system works...there is no consideration of ability or "but they only won cos of fucked AI" or any crap like that. it works plain and simple on who you have beat and who the teams you have played have beat...nothing else.

Read the post above this.....RPI doesn't take into effect score or player ability or stats...Whether you beat a team by 1 or 255. There is a lot of weight based on your opponents...really this shouldn't be posted until week 8 or so, but I did.

So either you need to play better opponents...which will come...or you need the opponents you've already played to win some games.

sdumont, thanks for doing this. I used to write power rankings for Alpha only, but am now a team owner & don't have the time.

Besides, this is much more than just my opinion, so it's worth more.

Does a 52 point loss make it make sense now? With all due respect to Middlesbrough Mayhem we had some tactic issues on defense that we feel we fixed. I think if we play again its a much different game.
